Sisu shove your CVA up your Arse !!!

Stu, where do you get this idea that Sisu have any intention of coming back to the Ricoh from? I've had a look at some of the recent quotes from Fisher and co in print and the best I kind find is this briefing to the Telegraph which is not attributed to a named individual: That only says...

I think the threat of legal action against Northampton Town, and the comments today about the administrator and the Football League are all designed to ramp up pressure on those organisations to encourage Sisu to reconsider, or not stand in their way if they want to take ACL's offer (e.g. If...

And there are still 1 or 2 SISU lovers out there - incredible.

It is looking likely that we'll soon be on the path to finding out whether ACL can survive without the football club and whether what appears to be a Sisu gamble will work. Are you happy Sisu seem to be betting with the football club?

If Sisu reject the ACL offer it suggests to me that they are only interested in getting the Ricoh on the cheap. If that is what they want, why would they then play at the Ricoh if the CVA is signed? Surely they would go sit in Northampton and wait while the legal challenges play out etc?

If ACL sign the CVA, how does that get us playing in Coventry?

I agree that Friday is crunch day, but Tim Fisher's words today sure don't look good for playing in Coventry:

They've run us up against a cliff edge of and they've moved to tip us over

Exactly. Could ACL have handled things better? Yes, I am sure they could, but how the heck are they supposed to *negotiate* with people that don't seem to want to negotiate. It looks to me like Sisu are after the Ricoh, pure and simple. But we wait and see. Maybe they will see sense by Friday...

They've run us up against a cliff edge of and they've moved to tip us over

Could they have offered better deals if they had not refinanced the Yorkshire Bank loan? So they do and offer better terms and what does Sisu do? It sues the council for taking action that allows ACL to offer a lower rent...

    CCFC still going to Northampton?

If revenue streams are so important it makes no sense to go and play in front of 210 fans in Northampton. If they want their own stadium to have the full revenue streams, why don't they take the ACL deal, build the new ground and then buy out the lease? They would gain more turnover and more...

    CCFC still going to Northampton?

The article adds: ACL, which is suing Northampton Town for allegedly "inducing" Coventry into breaking an agreement to stage matches with it, believes its offer of reduced rent is good enough to keep the Sky Blues at the Ricoh. James Powell, of the law firm Walker Morris, which is representing...

    CCFC still going to Northampton?

Not looking good. Update from the Guardian: http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/jul/31/coventry-city-liquidation-cva?CMP=twt_gu Coventry City chief executive, Tim Fisher, said ACL's amendments would not be made to the CVA and that a planned groundshare with Northampton Town would go...
