French Trialist Striker - Florian Ankoue

Yes Farndon was very dismissive about him. Could be a smoke screen though?

Conor Chaplin - Signing Confirmed (Finally!)

Exactly - we took a chance with McNulty, based on Robins judgement, and it paid off. There's always a degree of risk when signing new players, but I trust Robins judgement to get it right most of the time - but there'll always be some who disappoint (e.g. Vincenti).

    Court Case Thread! June 2018

I agree. The administration of Justice always comes to a halt in the summer, to allow their Lordships and Ladies their customary time to go huntin' shootin' and fishin'. It's a disgrace!!!

Like a fool I bet on Russia and Portugal winning. Russia didn't turn up and Portugal were intent on giving possession away and committing niggly fouls than scoring. They have as much chance in progressing further, as I have in recovering my disasterous bets.

    Ryan Haynes has been sold

Exactly. Grendel is ignoring the fact that if Biamou was not selected, we'd have started with Ponticelli and had a half-fit Beavon on the bench. I doubt very much whether we'd have finished in a play-off place with combination - but that's just my opinion. In addition, it's unlikely that Biamou...
