What is going on with the Tory leadership contest?

    Mission accomplished.

    Pre season

Re: training - do the players actually train at times of the day that mirror match days? It might seem a trivial thing but if we're usually playing 3pm wouldn't it be even a slight advantage if the body is used to strenuous exercise at that time of day? If you train in the am and by mid...

    Number 10

I think he's got more ACM attricutes than box-to-box - he's far too weak defensively to do that. He can pick a pass and travel with the ball - things I'd associate more with an ACM. He's an (A)CM.

    Number 10

Yes. He'd play the role in a different manner to Bright but IMO would be more effective there than next to Kelly. If he is, he'd probably be a bit deeper to give him more space to look up and pass, but that potentially leaves the striker isolated so we need the two next to him pushing on to...

    No Strikers?

I think Max will become a bench option and potential super-sub (esp to begin with as he comes back from injury). He'd let us change things up front, with a bit of strength and hold up play so we can go more direct when needed and he tends to score spectacular goals so if we need that spark to...

    No Strikers?

I'm hoping MR will be drumming into Chaplin to get in the box and making the opposition track him instead of dropping deep. If MR asks him to play that deep role you've got to question MR, but if he asks Chaplin to play up and he keeps dropping back he's got to move him on and look for better...

    Bright Enobakhare

    1. Yes 2. No 3. Possibly - depends on why they triggered the extension. Was it just so they could get a fee for him? 4. He's not on a free

What is going on with the Tory leadership contest?

It does seem a bit "a moving target is harder to hit" - keep the cycle going so no-one can focus on any one thing. Trouble is he seems to have got mired in this domestic argument a bit. He needs a new distraction. Strange thing is, as much as I think Boris is totally incompetent I still think...

    Next Seasons Confirmed Squad/Transfer Rumours

If it let us sign a different striker and there was confirmed interest in them I can. Just as I can see Bayliss being allowed to leave if it meant Bright coming in.

    No Strikers?

In terms of numbers and budget I can see why the striker isn't a priority, but surely they must be looking and if they see someone who'd improve the strikers they'd try and get them and let one or two go if necessary. We definitely need to up our conversion rate this season.

    SCOvARG VAR

Perhaps we should have the rule they can leave their line as soon as a player starts their run up. At least it 'd stop those stupid Pogba-esque stutter steps bollocks,

    Women's World Cup 2019

The keepers kicking is definitely dodgy and she does stay rooted to her line a bit too much. I also see the defenders have had the same coach teaching them passing it back to the keeper as the men. I also think Duggan has been quite poor this tournament - her passing has been woeful much of the...

Personally I think that was accidental. At least I hope it was.

What is going on with the Tory leadership contest?

Nope. Bit of pressure from the whips and threats that'll affect them personally and they'll soon shut up.

What is going on with the Tory leadership contest?

Including her name by the sounds of it ;) Wish she'd just keep to getting irate about importing cheese and opening pork markets.

    100 years from now

So much about that song annoys me. "Not much has changed but we live underwater" Yeah, hardly notice would you. Surprised you even brought it up to be honest. "And your great, great, great granddaughter is pretty fine" Your great great great granddaughter would be about 850 years old! Nivea...

    100 years from now

This point is more for the 'rule changes' than what I expect to see in 100 years time, but part of me would much prefer each league to be a maximum of 16 teams (30 games a season) and get rid of midweek games, or save them for cup competitions/postponements etc. From that I see the top 4...

    100 years from now

100 years time - god knows what it'll be like. By then the entire game may well be officiated by technology and as has been said actually being in the stadium will be totally unnecessary. By then you'd probably have some form of camera all over the pitch and even on the players so you can watch...

    Next Seasons Confirmed Squad/Transfer Rumours

Part of the reason I like the off-season is because we get these new faces in and you can imagine they're going to set the world alight and how great next season's going to be. It's the reality of when matches start that ruins it when some of those players don't settle or turn out to be shite/lazy.

    England cricket 2019

Was it down to complacency? Low total to get, we've been getting high scores for quite a while. It's the problem with having that kind of batting line-up - it's very explosive and when it works it works unbelievably. But when it doesn't there's not really anyone other than Root to provide a...
