    Transfer Rumour January Transfer Rumours/Deals

I just pray it's one who can stick the bloody ball in the net. We've tried quick, tricky, tall, strong. One thing we've not tried is someone who scores goals. I'm still hopeful that Godden alongside Max can fill that role.

Nah. We've heard enough about his past lies, deceit and selfishness already but it doesn't seem to matter. Should be called Teflohnson

I hope it doesn't go that way too but it almost inevitably will. Trump, referendum and now election it's done astounding well for. It's now become "if you can't beat them join them".

Are you assuming that the Jewish Times speaks for all Jews? Does The Sun/Mail etc speak for all Britons? Does the Trust speak for all Cov fans?

While I agree the sentiment is a bit over the top it can be argued there is some truth in it. Labour (and others) went for the broad stroke of policies rather than one issue. They went with trying to explain why these things would be good whereas what the Tories wanted wouldn't be. Trouble...

I've seen a few people saying this is the start of 20 yrs of Tories. I don't necessarily think that's the case. Most of 'the red wall' went because of Brexit, mixed in with a bit Corbyn. Those will not be on the table next time (or if they are those same constituencies will feel massively...

The issue there is that Alexander isn't a guy for details, or hard work. Maybe someone around him will be but he tends to be surrounded by people's who's main concern is money. They'll look for whatever they'll profit most from. This is not a good starting position to finding a solution.

Although the decision to stand aside in Tory seats appears to be correct I did think they'd have also been better off pulling out of marginals, but in the end it didn't matter. Brexit party made no difference to the overall result. The fact that they have prevented strong Labour seats like...

It is one of those things that the likes of the privilege seem to manage - cause a huge mess and yet somehow always come out of it better than the start. Like a crap racing driver being given a head start, weaving all over the track so everyone behind them crashes and they end up winning the...

Although I agree with you on the whole about the people do you think any country in the world sees itself as hard left/right? Or do they all think of themselves as moderate due to their cultural history? Do Islamic countries see their policies as hard-right, or do they see everyone else's as...

But there has been a material change. When the indy ref was done Cameron told the Scots the best way to ensure they stayed in the EU was to remain part of the UK. That will no longer be true, so it can be argued the question can be asked again.

That may well be the case but the likes of Sturgeon don't care. Scottish independence is like her Brexit - it's all the fault of the British and all will be sunshine and light if they're free of it's tyranny and nobody will tell her differently. Even if Scotland left and economically went down...

Yep, never understood it. Accuracy, not speed. Found Blythe Valley amusing. Brought in the guy that usually does places like Sunderland to go for the record, brought in as many counters etc as possible and ended up needing a recount! Didn't even give the first result, let alone break the...

There were some people as well who were being interviewed early in the morning outside the BBC who were Labour supporters but hadn't backed the party due to Corbyn, and frankly I was struggling to understand their mindset behind their decisions. First one said the liked the Labour policies but...

In this end this proved to be what most on here thought it would be - a Brexit election. People's opinion of Corbyn had an effect in places too but predominantly it was Brexit. Looking at the positives... With this majority we can now get the WA out of the way, and hopefully (assuming a lot of...
