Ponticelli - Call the poor guy back now

I think the point was bring him back so he could play for US against THEM - fired up and ready to prove them wrong.

Max Biamou has he solved a problem.

Why? We've got a few systems and none of them have 'proper' wide players. If we're still not putting chances away by Jan he will be looking (once again) for a striker but think we'd need to get rid of one or two first, even for a loanee.

    London Bridge

Doesn't this prove Otis' point? Just because you deny you are something doesn't mean you're not. How many people come out after doing something incredibly brave and say "yeah, I'm a hero". Reaction by many would be 'smug twat'. A brave, heroic twat but still a twat.

    Championship 'bubble waiting to burst'

Because we never had the milk/Rumbelows/Littlewoods/Carling/Coca-Cola Cup before..... Maybe it's the .com that makes it sound that bit sillier to us slightly older generation.

    No. Next question.

    Poll the general election

Given her ample assets, willingness to say whatever the person she's talking to wants to here and desire to be on TV and be centre of attention a career in late night adult chat channels potentially beckons....

How is she excellent at her job if she's just broken journalistic rules (and quite probably the law) by revealing this info. Why did she tweet about the unverified reports of someone attacking Matt Hancock which were untrue? If you're a political editor these are things you ought to know not to...

    General Election 2019 thread

Not my take. Postal votes will mainly be older generation - far more likely to be Conservative. If it's trying to influence election this would (IMO) bring out more Labour or put complacency in some conservatives.

    General Election 2019 thread

Indeed. It could make some Labour people come out and vote and/or make some Tories complacent. It could end up being a boost for Labour on polling day for all anyone knows.

Match Thread Shrewsbury Town vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 14th Dec

We may well go unchanged depending on recovery from last night, but it is good to know we've got a few systems we can now make work and leave teams guessing. Shrewsbury seems to be one of those places we never do well at and me feeling confident is usually a sure fire sign or a poor performance...

Max Biamou has he solved a problem.

Dunno if he's solved the problem entirely but he's certainly solved a few of the variables within it. I'm looking forward to seeing him with Godden at some point to see if it adds another string to the bow. He linked well with Shipley last night so should mean we've got a few different tactical...

    General Election 2019 thread

It is the point that if it works it becomes "if you can't beat them join them". Although I reckon if the likes of Campbell were still involved it'd be pretty rife in Labour circles. I'm trying to think if there's any other profession someone could come out with so much disinformation and not be...

    General Election 2019 thread

It is indeed a shitty thing to do but not necessarily something I'd put past campaigners for any party frankly, esp under pressure to do so from the spin doctors etc. Like the thing about the leaked NHS deal documents - it REALLY annoys when things like this come to light and the outrage is at...

    General Election 2019 thread

I think that's under an assumption due to the different time of year. Bit of bad/cold whether and they feel younger voters are more likely to stay in. Uni students may be in the process of moving around at the end of term. Older voters are of course prone to bad weather this but are far more...

That's why they do it - by the time it gets called out it's too late as in this day and age with the speed of communication it's already gone round the internet twice and those that want to believe it will. You still here the odd person going on about bendy bananas and that was debunked over a...

Ponticelli - Call the poor guy back now

I'd like for him to be put into the U23's on his return to get some match sharpness back - he'd have been better off here than at Tranmere cos at least he'd have had U23 games here. But I reckon MR will look to ship him out again. But you're right about managers not necessarily being correct -...

Ponticelli - Call the poor guy back now

Because we're a team who's missing piece is someone to stick the plethora of chances we get in the net. Tranmere are scrapping away and just looking to create the odd chance to nick a win after defending for the entire game. Two entirely different scenarios requiring different types of player.

Except for the fact he had a broken foot and if he hadn't would've been on loan at Macclesfield.
