I reckon most Tory voters and apologists would opt for yesterday.

Council meeting for Mark and I

If their games clash yes. If not, probably not. Could argue that a free ticket there may get someone up to then not bothered about rugby interested enough to attend other rugby games, which could include CRFC games. Not the strongest argument, but one that could be made.

We've got 4 first team centre halves and two younger ones pushing. If we sign another first team centre half it'll be because one of the first teamers is going out.

Doubtful we will attending matches this side of Xmas

Could be dangerous allowing crowds at that level, esp early on because could see quite a lot of people turning up to watch a game that are missing it. Those clubs as well as not having the capacity can't afford the security and policing if loads turn up. Would be a nice cash boost for those...

It does feel like his time here may be coming to an end which I think is a shame. Been quite unlucky last two years which has hampered him. Foot injury at Shrews, Tranmere didn't work out then made promising start at Wrexham before season curtailed. Would like to see him get regular minutes in...

Billson or Tyler in goal McGrath as back up CB Bartlett or Young might be better suited to CDM than Burroughs, but Burroughs could be competing with Bapaga and N'Gandu. Evans-Harriott also competing for CAM. Dan Lafferty is still around too but has suffered badly with injuries. I'd have Ponti...

    George Floyd

Don't know about any preceding incident but doesn't excuse the reaction. Very dangerous, cowardly and deserves to be locked up.

Also do a comparison to other civilisations. For example it's believed the Celts had a crude form of social security (basically like home help) and wouldfeed and nurse the sick but are seen as uncivilised. Others like certain Greek city states would just dump weak children in the wilderness to...

Yeah but I'm being optimistic about that. I don't reckon it'll be totally unlivable for at least a generation! Uncomfortable and even more crowded as sea levels rise and population continues to grow exponentially, but not unlivable...

    Transfer Rumour Jonathan Panzo

It wasn't just in a database. I heard we were actually offered him. Probably an agent but it wasn't just scouting, it was actually "do you want to sign him?"

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

If the family are in such dire straits as to not be able to allow their kid a year to get onto the course they feel they deserve and immediately need the kid to get a job to pay for the family home then it's unlikely they'd have the chance to go to uni anyway. Household bills for the parents...

I agree. It may get them into a course or whatever they want now, but if they aren't up to it they will struggle later on and have wasted time getting onto their preferred course when in fact it probably wasn't in their best long term interests to do so. You can't really say "take the exams...

Compared to finding tuition fees and paying for accommodation/food at uni as opposed to living at home? Also some will already have PT jobs at home in supermarkets. Moving away means either getting a transfer or finding a new job in this downturn. I think that'd be harder.

Not ideal, but if they used the year constructively to do some reading on their chosen subject they could use on the application the long term benefit would be much greater. Most kids that age will either be part time at a supermarket and/or living with parents so economic considerations...
