MVE is now the biggest defensive liability. So poor for so long. He needs offloading. A quality midfielder who can drive us forward is essential. And i've absolutely had enough of Sheaf ambling around the wrong side of attackers and pointing. So many bland average players.

MVE is a liability, you don't want Thomas covering right back. Sheaf is continually the wrong side, weak on the challenge, rarely heads the ball. Lati just looks awkward and sluggish. Torp pretty awkward and sluggish as well. Eccles a woeful naive pass. Saka invisible.

Hope Simms is really up for this and shows some promise and threat. Needs someone to thread passes into channels for him. Maybe Torp can step up... A clean sheet would be a real positive as well.

Probably a loss today. No real cutting edge and still have a defensive mistake in us. Simms needs more game time. I guess FL would be happy with a draw. He didn't seem that bothered about dropping 2 points against Millwall tbh. So I imagine the same team and a defensive setup. More boredom...

Funny how quickly we've moved to being concerned about losing EMC from the starting line up... The fellas done really well. Looks thinner, fitter, quicker as well has having the confidence and ability to run at defenders, twist and turn and take people on.

Interesting in his post match interview that Lampard said he'd not seen much of Dovin. I guess he has so.much on his plate he was focussing elsewhere. Probably trusted Rhys Carr regarding Collins😙. Let's hope that nonsense is over....
