I'd go back to the box for this. Kelly's experience would be useful but it would mean one of Sheaf or Hamer playing more advanced which isn't their nature. They both have the ability to be creative in a different way to O'Hare using their passing, and if Hamer would be more willing to shoot it...

So we have all this lovely interplay and then he fails to beat the first man with the cross and it comes to nothing. If the ball doesn't end up in the net it doesn't matter how much fancy play goes on before it. Beckham rarely beat his man but his crossing was that good he didn't need to.

To be fair he was only on the pitch five minutes and in that time he got himself into a position to score, albeit he did miss it. If the strikers don't get more than one good chance in the first five minutes of a game should it be said they've done very little and should be sent out on loan?

It's a figure of speech. I obviously don't mean it'd be the end of the world if we lost, just that taking something from the game now becomes far more important to try and maintain where we are than if we'd have won tonight.

it's almost like cos he went for it at the weekend and the game went away from us he's decided it's no going to work tonight. If you're going to make attacking subs and push for the win it's better to do it at home with the crowd behind you. I do sometimes wonder what is going through MR's...

If we'd won tonight we could have approached that game with a bit more freedom, knowing it wouldn't be the end of the world if we didn't get a result. Now it feels like we need to pick up at least a point.
