    Madeleine McCann

When I was about 17 me and my then girlfriend were babysitting her 3 year old niece. It was a nice sunny day and her niece had fallen asleep on the sofa so we went out into the garden and left the back door open so we could hear if she woke up. The phone rang, waking her up, and my gf went to...

    Next year Season tickets

The extension seems to happen every year to extend it beyond payday, so I feel like it's just a way of trying to get people on board quickly and maybe even using the finance option instead.

    Madeleine McCann

While I agree with what you've typed, there is no doubt in my mind that they have been let off to a certain extent because of their profession. Working class, minimum wage parents would have been absolutely torn to pieces for being unfit parents and calls to have their other kids taken off them...

Can't help but feel that was scripted for her by a member of staff to deliberately find out if she'd just repeat or spot the obvious errors.

Whole squad. Who stays, who goes?

Although I can't see him challenging O'Hare for his spot (at best it'd be to play alongside him) given that we've renewed his contract for three years while he's been injured it would seem pointless to not at least give him some time to prove whether or not he could be a squad player here next...

    McFadzean extension

While I'm happy for him to stay, as he is a more physical centre-half and his experience and leadership help, i wouldn't want to offer him better terms because at that age the legs can go almost anytime. it's a quandary because he seems to play better with a run in the side but I can't see him...

    Bin Strikes

That's my point. Same jobs, two different sets of conditions/pay so there ends up being an argument about that rather than the bigger picture of "why don't we just all get the same pay and conditions if we do the same job?"

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I agree that in the grand scheme of things he's got a rap sheet of worse things longer than your arm, but as seems to be the way it's the smaller things that stick *though I'm uncomfortable using the word smaller as it won't seem small to those who were unable to say goodbye to loved ones etc...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

"You've broken the ministerial code - you should resign!" "What says I should resign?" "The ministerial code" "So the thing I've already broken is the thing that tells me to resign?" "Yes" "Well, as I already ignored it I think I'll just ignore it again, thank you very much"

    Parking at the CBSA

Given how much G reckons he earns his drive probably has a bigger capacity than the arena anyway. But no way would G settle for having proles on his land, no matter how much they paid.

When the home fans sat in the away end

Think it would make more sense to have the away fans in the North Stand (they can put up with the sun in their eyes) and then they can get on the coaches etc at that end of the ground while the majority of City fans would head in the opposite direction towards the Arena Shopping park. Wouldn't...

    Bournemouth fans

I think the RR would need a similar sort of system, just one that's less intrusive and offputting. But as it is is detrimental to the city centre. They had that plan for the Swanswell Initiative a number of years ago that flattened the whole section between J1 and 3. Real shame that never...

    Bournemouth fans

I agree entirely about connecting the canal basin, and they did/do have plans for removing the bridge for an at-level crossing, which would help. part of the problem is that you barely know the basin is there because of Leicester Row, but they're part of the original buildings and unlikely to be...

    This Summer

I'd be looking at other options as well, but I think we could do worse. Certainly as a younger replacement for the Fadz role. Would likely have a half decent chance of getting him too, assuming his ego can accept he's not about to be fought over by the top European teams.

    Bin Strikes

But then the real question is why are the laws such that these shitty conditions for temp workers are allowed and thus workers are pitted against each other as one set wants better pay, the other better conditions.

    Bin Strikes

That is the divide and conquer tactic though. Get those that should be on the same side fighting each other instead of joining forces against those that make it so the drivers want higher wages/can't turn down hours.

    Loan Watch

He's shown in the past he knows where the goal is, but he at best has a louche demeanour that comes across to fans as a bit lazy. With the way we play MR isn't going to accept a striker that isn't putting a shift in. If he can add that to his game he'd have a place here. Sadly the penny should...
