That's true, but this match isn't really any different to the rest in that respect. It would have been a huge win if only to get at least one on the board, but the defeat is more business as usual than a turning point for the worse.
I don't believe this game tells us anything overall, other than 'Coventry lose away games'.
Every defeat since around November has had people saying we're now League One-bound.
As important as this game is, this won't define whether we stay up or go down. Let's not start pretending that an away defeat in a season filled with them is somehow the final death knell.
Nuts to it, Mercia will do instead. Dave Bennett's commentating/cheerleading is way more fun than a blocky stream of an Aussie broadcast could ever be.
This doesn't really make sense. You're countering a suggestion that a manager exists that could do better, with a point that there are some who've done worse.
I assume he's not referring to all fans who question Thorn as most are sensible and actually would like their doubts to disappear with Thorn succeeding. There are however a small number of people here who only conveniently pop up at certain times.
If you're advocating everyone who disagrees with you about something should go elsewhere, it kind of misses the point of what's meant to be a discussion forum, and not a cheerleader tryout.
