    Do they really care ?

I wouldn't give that too much credibility really, angrier the fan the greater the exaggeration. Look at threads throughout here, for instance - depending on who you read and when, we veer between a capable team bemusingly lower than we should be, to the biggest disgrace seen in sky blue in 500...

    Thorns replacement ..............

Thorn pretending to be someone else, probably. He can bring a cheerleader who's in on it too.

    Jon Gaunt

He's a sinister version of Jeremy Clarkson.

    Biggest game in recent history

It would have been big had we won purely because it was one of our best chances of finally winning away, but I don't see it as make or break particularly. Mainly because I think we're possibly beyond repair. Must plough on though.

    Biggest game in recent history

I'm not sure it was as big as people make out. A win would have been huge, but as a defeat it ranks among all the rest.

I must have been on crack last week

Our defence, to be honest. The first goal was a shambles, allowing a chap in more or less the right-back position to waltz through. If your first name is Diego or Lionel then you can score from there, but not if you're a Championship winger.

I must have been on crack last week

Annoyingly, since my very first game we've been manna from heaven for underperforming teams and players. Any striker who couldn't score for toffee? Coventry will let you waltz through. I remember Milosevic filling his boots in particular amongst others. I bet Fernando Torres is praying that...

That and drowning in the bathtub.

I must have been on crack last week

That's the salvation to cling to. If we assume that away fixtures will give us nothing, we should hope for things elsewhere to go our way and that our recent decent (poetry) home form continues through to May. You never know.

I must have been on crack last week

Is it just me who thinks nothing's really changed that much? This time a week ago we were hopeless away and capable of defying opinion at home.

As there are only Thorn threads on the go at the moment ....

I thought Nimely looked relatively bright, although he does seem a cut above anyway so an average performance for him is still better than most.

Why did anyone predict anything but a City defeat?

Ah cheers, I think I've combined those two seasons to an extent. The original Fortress Ricoh days.

Why did anyone predict anything but a City defeat?

Did we have a recent season without an away win (albeit with a much better home record) also or am I remembering wrong? Around 2005ish?

    Hope is a fickle mistress

I do like this thread title.

Why did anyone predict anything but a City defeat?

We need to fool our players into thinking they're playing at home in the remaining away games. Problem is that a lot of teams fill more than 40% of their ground so it's hard to duplicate.

    Thorn Not To Blame

    Sarcasm, folks. Come on now.

    First Caller ?

We lose 2-0 in our most important match for years and this twat concentrates on someone calling a local radio station !!

    First Caller ?

Still better than your knee-jerk posts.

If we weren't down before, we are now...

Definitely this for me. The first goal in particular; I'm sure McCleary's a good player and all but players shouldn't be going unchallenged from their own half and allowed to shoot.
