    Transfer Shouts

We defintely need both and they'll both get game time. With extra subs we'll be swapping wing backs often I reckon to keep up the pace and intensity. It's probably the most physically demanding position.

He's certainly not polished when someone takes him to task on stuff. Has a very entitled 'how dare you question me!' air about him.

It's quite something when you're there wanting someone like Rishi Sunak to win a contest. I mean, whoever it is is a bad choice.

Thought this was a transfer rumour about a new right back.

    Sir Lewis Hamilton

Not at all. I've said in the past his achievements in the sport are incredible. Yes, sometimes he gets on my nerves with preaching what he doesn't practice but that doesn't take anything away from what he's done in the sport. But in the discussion about his tax, are you saying that it's...

And if he's played up front with Godden it might give him a bit more space to get goals.

Playing devil's advocate, you can still dodge tax AND pay a lot of tax in comparison to others. I'll bet the biggest tax dodgers are also those that pay the highest amounts of tax. If I paid twice as much tax as you but earned five times as much income, would I not be dodging tax somewhere?

    Team for Sunderland

Yeah, but I think a big problem last year was not putting chances away early on that meant we ended up chasing goal. let's put our best finisher on the pitch from the start so we're less likely to end up in that situation in the first place. Plus, Tavares is a good option to bring off the bench...

    O'Hare bids

In the end we had to accept the Villa bid because it met the clause. If we'd not given him the new contract we may have got more cos we'd have had the right to say no to the Villa bid. Didn't Blackburn supposedly put in a bigger bid but he refused to leave so we ended up getting less? That seems...

I do get Rob's point. It would be fun to see all the drivers in exactly the same cars to settle who is the best driver. Simiarly it would be nice to let the constructors just do whatever they want to (mainly just having safety regs) and see what weird and wonderful innovations they come up with.

    O'Hare bids

If you're putting in a release clause the whole point is you want it to be high so that people don't trigger it. If the clause gets met it almost certainly means they'd have been willing to pay more and you've not got the best value for the asset as you could. Why would you give a player a new...

To be fair Truss wasn't a Brexiteer, just another blowing with the wind to appease her own delusioned ambitions.

So the solution to a lack of competition is...a lack of competition? If you're worried about a lack of competition in the PL wait until you hear about the Bundesliga and Ligue 1! Or we could do things that might actually stop it being noncompetitive with things like squad limits for players...
