    Time's Up

You’ll always get this. As soon as something doesn’t go well instant change is called for. Players recently sold become world beaters. Players on the bench must come on. It’s the same with the manager. It’s in the DNA of football fans. Change is the solution. It’s not. Thousands of teams look...

    Recruitment has been shocking

For me the individual players have been OK but the blend and balance is wrong.

    A Gentlemans Excuse Me

Yes. All as a result of luck/circumstance apparently if you read the opening post.

    A Gentlemans Excuse Me

So basically there’s an extenuating circumstance in all of Robins successses but he’s to blame for all of the stuff that’s gone wrong? Maybe things have run their course (I hope they haven’t) but at least let the guy have his achievements.

    Time's Up

I’m not convinced the issue is Robins. So getting rid won’t solve anything.

    Time's Up

Not scoring it. But squaring it was.
  7. C

    Time's Up

He didn’t. He ran around a lot and missed an absolute sitter which he should have squared.

You can come in off the playground now. You’ve been involved at a decent level - congratulations. So is Erik Ten Haag and he’s still shite. What a ridiculously brattish post.

Match Thread Queens Park Rangers - Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 22nd Oct

I’d say same again but Van Ewijk at wing back means a formation change. So I’d go with Dovin mve Thomas Binks Dasilva Eccles Sheaf Rudoni Saka Simms Wright

    Time's Up

I think in particular he’s had a lot of say in transfers and coaches

    Time's Up

Agreed. But points are won on the pitch. It’s there he is getting it wrong.

    Sheaf

Got to agree with that. Not saying O’Hare wasn’t a talent but the sheer time off the pitch means we were able to cope very adequately without him. We’ve signed good individual talent with the Hamer and Yok cash but the blend of personalities and balance of the squad is wrong.

Match Thread Preston vs. Coventry City - Match Thread - Sat 19th Oct

It’s a sideways move at best. But it’s the best yet of distance travelled in terms of a conversation. From the merits of Preston’s 3 at the back and Bassette or Simms to an incel accusation. Outstanding work.

Take the points about Milne, Sexton etc. Personally I’d include Sillett. But for every one of those there has been a Mackay, Neal, Butcher, Dowie, Slade etc etc. Changing manager is no guarantee of change of fortune. And King has no track record of getting anything right either.

    Time's Up

Well, it’s either that or they just happen to disagree with your utter dross.
  16. C

    Rudoni …?

Well he’s the closest thing we’ve got to a creative midfielder so we have to stick with him.

    Respect for Latibeudiere

Defence is an issue for sure. It’s another area where recruitment has been of players rather than system strategy. We concede some ridiculously easy goals.

I think a debut for incel accusations on the match thread.Very odd

Suggestions on here confirm that the judgement of those wanting Robins gone is deeply flawed twice.
