It wasn't the wrong lens, just that the photographer hadn't left the lens cover on before taking the snap.

    Reasons you miss games

Doesn't feel that cold inside. Thick jumper and socks and it's fine. I've felt far, far colder at the football. God knows how many layers, double socks and gloves and can't even open a bottle because my fingers are so numb from the cold. Can't seem to warm up again afterwards either. I know it...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Quite simple. He doesn't. He wants to be an MP for the power and prestige. To be in the top job(s). He's not in it to listen to constituent's complaints or sit on the backbenchs. So if that's what it involves he can't be arsed with it.

People like Boris can get through money with no problem at all. Especially as I imagine he has a lot of alimony and child-maintenance to pay. He'll probably be broke again soon enough.

    End of Hummel?

I still think it'd be nteresting to have a 'sky blue-out' kit.

Would be nice to see if it's the case (though obviously would prefer both in the box and others putting in the crosses)

Also see that once again it has been up to the bastion of democracy the HoL to stop legislation that would pretty much ban protests.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I've no problem with energy being its own department - it's incredibly important just on its own - as is Business. But at the same time I feel like Sunak is creating jobs for people to keep them sweet.

    End of Hummel?

Isn't a 'concrete collar' going to be a bit heavy for the players?

    Reasons you miss games

Work Saturdays. Also when I went to every game by the time it starts getting cold and dark Nov/Dec it often feels more like a chore than a pleasure. So now I chose 4-6 games a season and enjoy a more varied set of entertainment - theatre, comedy, ice hockey etc. People on here won't like that...

    Home v Sunderland 12.30, Sky, £33 a ticket

But would changing it from Cat A price to Cat C be 'discounting'? I think there should be the option to review prices if the date/time of the fixture is changed or it gets chosen for TV. I like the idea of the voucher for the difference, as it could result in an extra ticket sale somewhere...

    Timewasting

I sort of agree, but the problem is that it would give an incentive for the opposition to actually give a player a head injury because they'd be a man up for a short period of time. Maybe allow a concussion sub, but the other team gets to choose which player come off the bench

    Ndlovu's Kids

Think I'd call that the Boris Clause. Basically says if you're not keeping it your pants might as well go the whole hog. Once you're up to the max then it makes no difference.

    Madonna

Really sad. Clearly people like her have body dismorphia and no matter how much surgery they have they'll always want more. I think it's also a case of having so much surgery eventually something will go wrong - scar tissue, chace of infection etc. What she needs is a psychologist, not a surgeon.

Who would you get to support Gyokeres? I guess Maguire would be the most likely fit as a hold up player. We've tried Godden up top with Gyok and it doesn't work. Godden just seems to be a passenger as Vik puts his head down. Godden's skills are putting the ball in the net rather than linking up...

I don't disagree with that. It just seems a poor argument that the pay will attract the brightest and best. It won't, even if it was higher. There will be those who want to do it to improve the country and make a difference, in which case the pay will be secondary to them, just as it is for...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

That was largely my point. It's more to do with arse-licking than ability. How many jobs are there that have literally has no minimum education requirement? Let alone one that puts you on over 80k and gives you a say in how to run the country? All you have to do is get your name down under the...

    Their goal last night

And they still can and do. But it's true it's more punishing because errors are more likely to be take advantage of while good play goes largely unnoticed by many. As an attacker you can lose the ball loads of times but score a worldie and the world loves you. As a defender you can block...
