After that match Micky Quinn had scored 20 goals in his first 27 league matches. Astonishing. Even more so if you consider he scored 5 more in his last 37.

19/20 top group B with 84/85 also comfortably making into the round 2 hat.

Blue and white stripes on a Coventry kit are never acceptable and certainly not perfect, and those are facts my friend.

At the end of this competition I'll do a one-off group of the 5 kits that picked up the least votes so we can vote for the worst one. 14/15, 16/17, 81-83 (TV kit) nailed on entries I'd say.

So 86/87 and 97/98 make it through group A without breaking sweat. Round 2 will be seeded so 97/98 will be up against a 2nd place finisher when the draw is made once the group stage is complete. Cheers Lee
