Never understood that mentality. You may not get to the fifth pen if you're relying on your lesser penalty takers taking the ones before it.

    VAR needs an overhaul

In the stadium at the time it didn't bother me that much, mainly because I (naively) assumed that the decision was made pretty quickly so it must have been relatively obvious. After the game to see how close it was, and then the frame they've used and where they've put the line for AWB I've just...

    Coin toss

I liked the change to ABBA but seems they decided it was 'too complicated'. If that's too complicated for someone I'd suggest they shouldn't be allowed out in public without a carer.

    Coin toss

Fucking annoying that it took ages for the ref to book him, at which point he walked off and had a drink from a bottle! Then gets booked again in the shot-out and still carries on shithousing. No only that but he won't even miss the final for the two yellows! Some of the rules are just fucking...

We have destroyed Man Utd's reputation

Could you not have asked to go back in for extra time?

    Peter Kay

Saw him in Birmingham last week and while it's not quite as funny as before it was still a decent night out. Not giving too much away but he will resurrect a few favourites in one way or another. He's also lost quite a bit of weight where at the start you're actually wondering if its him.

Match Thread Coventry City v Manchester United - FA Cup Semi-Final

Never gone through emotions like it in a game. Disappointed at how we set up at the start, dejected when that led to being 3-0 down, hope as we came back into it, nerves waiting for the injury time pen, joy when it went in, absolute elation at scoring the 4th followed by utter dejection when...

    Robins is greater than Guardiola

I often wonder how Pep would do at an average club where he couldn't just buy the best players. Don't think he could adapt his ethos to suit lesser able players, so would be relying very heavily on coaching it into them.

    FA Cup 23/24

Wouldn't mind so much if they changed the draw to allowing the club in the lower league to choose which ground it's played at.

    Wembley and the London Marathon

Run a different course so your 26 miles brings you out on Wembley Way. Or just do a Forrest Gump and once you get to the finish keep going until you reach Wembley.

This is the most high profile. PO final was more important.

Realistically Utd are more than likely to score, but Lati at RB makes them realistically likely to score more. And if you're mentioning Utd conceding chances and we should out attack and outscore them - Lati at RB isn't going to get forward to support. Chances are MvE will spend most of the...

    Wembley team last time

Genuinely would rather do that at I think Lati would get rinsed at RB. Rather have our weak link in their half of the pitch than ours.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

But then you have to ask where the enjoyment comes from? If someone says they can't have an enjoyable night out without a drink, I'd suggest that there is some level of addiction.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Considering it's Tories no.1 go to for any Labour policy it seems fair they get asked the same. Rightly or wrongly, it seems to resonate with voters. And it's not like they're going to say "we're a sovereign currency so we can print money" so it's a trap that needs an answer. Though chances are...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I think banning cigarettes is filled with problems. The loss of tax dollars allied to the increased cost in enforcing the ban. The opportunities for crime to fill the void and the lack of control over what is in them, which in turn will have costs involved with people's health. I'm more for...

    Fa cup tickets

Well if I was the club I'd have worked out how many tickets were left and then looked at how many people in the database had enough points to sell those tickets, with a small allowance for those that wouldn't want the extra ticket for whatever reason.
