    Whyte played for city

Big lanky bastard. Remember it being bloody freezing and we played with an orange ball.

Best City XI of all-time (GK)

it would be simpler, yes. However, I was going to announce a 2nd XI as well so we need to go through the motions. :-)

Best City XI of all-time (GK)

Thanks for the responses everyone. I think we've had about 60 credible responses so far, if Hedman is regarded as a credible response lol etc.... I originally said I would keep the vote open for a week but that seems like overkill. Therefore I will keep it open for 3 days in total, closing...

    Xmas CCFC Book Ideas...

'Sky Blue Heroes' is absolutely fantastic. Every City fan, particularly those of us old enough to have witnessed the cup year will love it. Unputdownable (if that was a word). The memories came flooding back and it is particularly great reading the players thoughts during the different stages...

Best City XI of all-time (GK)

Keep the votes coming, people. Try and remember to put the decade you started following the club too please. Although Oggy got my vote, I thought Kirkland was exceptional when he burst into the side in the relegation season. Always rated Westwood too. Shame neither stayed at the club longer.

Best City XI of all-time (GK)

Yeah possibly, but a) I don't know how and b) by doing that I'm not sure it would be possible to establish the decade would it??? I'm happy to collate it myself, I don't lead a very exciting life anyway. :-)

Best City XI of all-time (GK)

I'm a bit bored and thought it might be fun to establish a 'Best ever City XI' as voted for by SBT. I was thinking of voting for it one position at a time, starting obviously with GK. I will keep the voting open for 1 week per position and compile the results from people's responses. For...

Shef Utd v Cov on Sky

That is ridiculous given the respective positions of the two sides. Fill ya boots time.

    Seldom mentioned legends...

I know he went down the pan but David Smith was fantastic 88/89.

    City rejects??

That's why I wouldn't take him back. The morale in the dressing room is one of the reasons we have benn so successful. Don't need players with his attitude trying to fck it all up.

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

Christ that does look pitiful. 10K my arse.

    JFH to QPR

It better be as I have been 100% sure we'll win the league since the start of the season so its going to be a big shock to my system if it doesn't come to pass. Plus I've already spent my £250 winnings from my £10 stake at the start of the season.

    Best City strike force?

Looking at it in terms of seasons (in my lifetime), 97/98 Dion and Huckerby and 99/00 Roussel and Keane are the standouts for me.

Shef Utd v Cov on Sky

Current ticket sales are damn good IMO given the day, KO time, and the fact its on TV. We'll easily take over 1.2 - 1.5K. Great effort.

    Andy Rose

I haven't heard of 90% of the players we sign. If Mowbray rates him then he will be good, that's the basis I work on.

Do CCFC hold the biggest recorded away attendance in England?

Officially it was 8K at Stoke and 15K at the QF wasn't it? I think our following at the QF match exceeded the entire attendance at the City v Sheff Wed league match played a couple of weeks earlier.

Do CCFC hold the biggest recorded away attendance in England?

A lot of clubs have taken huge followings to Old Trafford so I would be surprised if nobody has matched our attendance in recent years.

I have a copy of Oggy's testimonal programme signed by the big man himself.

    Your CCFC Memorabilia

I own 642 home programmes dating back to 10th December 1983 (the day I started to support the club), and a spreadsheet documenting them all as well as the gaps in my collection (136). Fcking hell I need to get a life.
