Ta, that would make sense, at least it's not covid then. Hopefully it's a let's be safe decision, rather than a long term injury

Did he? Fair enough if he did but just had a look through posts and I can't see him say that anywhere? Maybe back form injury but given he wasn't close enough fitness wise before the injury, he's not going to be any closer now, without having played for the u23's for 2 weeks.

Seems strange that it's two CB's again, fingers crossed it's not a covid thing.

According to better days who said he had a niggle with his knee before the Barnsley game?

I assume the graphic is right and the notes are wrong. Don't see how pask is behind dacosta. Makes no sense to me, but let's hope it works.

They have messed that up! It says rose drops out? For dacosta but that Clarke-salter keeps his place? Well rose didn't start and Clarke-salter isn't in the squad. Very strange

Thought man city had made 60 million? Pep said he cost the club 40 million net in the interview he gave. Unless you are just talking about fitting with FFP, in which case yeah over the 3 years that would sound about right! It's very easy to get around FFP as Man city have shown.

Agreed, I think they are in profit this window aren't they even though that have spent 100m on Lukaku? Think they have made 130 million in sales!

Tbh Chelsea's business model is kind of genius over the last couple years. The amount of money they have made from signing young players loaning them out until they are a decent standard and then selling them is ridiculous. It's stupid it's allowed to happen on that scale but fair play to them...

    Robins era best signing

I don't think Fadz gets enough appreciation across the board. Despite, his mistakes over the last couple seasons he's an absolute leader. He has made the step up, and even when he's 34 he is is in tiptop condition. People were expecting him to only be able to start occasionally this season, and...

Hardly inspiring for them, think he made about 20 appearances for a pretty average Cardiff team and scored 2 goals was it? Also 31 now, think Reading will be in the relegation battle this season tbh.

Yes. It was the same at Barnsley.

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

Good question! For Hamer at this moment I assume you mean? I would say anywhere between 3-5 million, would be significant given their circumstances and what is likely needed for us to sell him. Which Rangers haven't shown any ability to spend so far this window given they have only signed free...

They don't have the funds to sign Hamer for any significant fee at the moment. Gerrard has already admitted they need a significant sale themselves to balance the books.

I think his development is probably best served here with us for another year. He's getting good exposure and a year with the u23's and being around the first team will be good for him. Reassess next pre-season

    Championship 21/22

Can you read? I said he wasn't the right appointment for Sheffield in my view. I think he's an okay manager especially at this level, however Sheffield United were/are in need of a complete rebuild, and his appointment seems like a desperate attempt to bounce back quickly, rather than an...

    Championship 21/22

He has other good attributes also, only had to watch how well he did at Swansea to see he's a good striker at this level. Of course he's limited in some areas of his game? He wouldn't be in the championship if he wasn't.
