Again I hope to god you aren't in a leadership position if your solution to everything is so short-termist.

Middlesborough, Southampton and the other game around that time he was good at RWB What are you talking about? You are talking about dragging him off and ruining his confidence further when he's clearly needed at this moment in time. Not about the length of time he has been here. It's funny...

Oh for fuck sake Nick give it a rest. He's shown more than enough last season to show he can play at the level. It's so short termist 'drag him off' 'hes fucking shit' 'he's league 2 standard' I hope to god you have never managed people. He's not had a good game yes, but the rest of the team...

    Transfer Shouts

Tbf the difference is the midfielder is likely not considered an overspend as West Ham also agreed the same fee just weren't willing to pay the wages. Don't think we will get an overinflated price for any of our three big players given our well known financial position.

Should ask rugby school if we can play on their new pitch for a month 🤣 looks lush. Believe it's the same type of Turf used at the Ricoh.

Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Rotherham United Match Thread - Sunday 7th Aug

He equally looked very assured in the position against the likes of Boro, Stoke and Southampton last season.... Not sure one game is enough to write him off in the position. He's not a long-term solution but he can do a job when required.

I honestly can't fathom starting Allen again. I like him on occasion but he was poor against Sunderland and this isn't a game built for his attributes. Would rather try and get 60 mins out of Palmer.

    Transfer Shouts

Agreed, be ideal if we can find a CM who could perhaps fill the role. At least for 4/5 months until Kelly is back (can't imagine we could afford season-long without shifting the dead wood). Unfortunately we still have Hilsner on a fairly significant wage on the payroll.

    Transfer Shouts

You don't then add another player on though just until Palmer is fit in a month's time? It has to be someone good enough at the level but is then going to be happy being second/third fiddle after a month? But then also have to hit the ground running...

    Transfer Shouts

Isn't that literally the reason we signed Palmer? Last year we had nobody (unless you include bright) not sure we can really expect somebody to come in and play 3rd fiddle.

    Sunderland Ratings

Panzo - great debut in a tough environment. Seems an upgrade on JCS at first glance but hopefully it's not flash in the pan. Vik- picked up where he left off, unreal goal. Godden- how the hell does he miss that chance. If there is one player you bet on to finish that in our team it's him...

    Josh Eccles 2022/23

Eccles will be a good player this year. But he was poor yesterday. Yes out of position but we had zero joy going forward down the right yesterday as he made the wrong decisions constantly. He'll learn for it and have better games.

    O'Hare bids

Believer is normally pretty spot on. But all this drama about it is pointless until a scan is done and we hear from Robins.

Tbf we were awful last pre-season look how that turned out. Pre-season really does mean little. Alex Neil has them on a good unbeaten run in a competitive setting.

    Championship 22-23

Potentially a really good signing actually if he can reach previous levels. Not sure he showed it when he came back from injury for derby last year

    Championship 22-23

Huddersfield rarely played well last year but ground out results, largely down to a number of stand out individuals. (Isn't a dig they ultimately had an amazing unbeaten run) A number of those players have left and so has the manager. Think they will struggle all season.
