    Coventry city fans

Personally I would actively encourage people to break as many football league rules as possible. As for it being against the law, I think you're misinterpreting what that law is there to do. At the end of every season teams are promoted. There will be joyous pitch invasions up and down the...

    sh#t on the villa!

Some people can't help but whine like children. I heard SOTV twice, so what. Embarrassing for who? Do you think opposition fans give shit? Why would they? Same with Leicester, I can't stand the fuckers, work with a load of them, but the sad stiffs on here are always whining about any...

    Coventry city fans

Agree. Some of the stuff on here is borderline hysterical. Completely harmless and instinctive reaction to a late goal. The only exception was the keeper incident and he'll pay the price for that. People should get over it, move on and stop being so wet.

CCFC take up 2 year extension at Ricoh

Don't see the point of all this because nobody will change their view. People will interpret and twist things to fit their position because nobody likes to admit they were wrong. I remember arguing endlessly with people on here about the signed HOT for the SISU buy-out of the Ricoh that the...

Good Ticket Sales For Boxing Day

I think it's more the principle. They tweet all the time about buying in advance and saving money, and yet they allow tickets to sell out 2 days before the game. It's just a bit amateurish.

    Port Vale (Home) Match Thread

I think that's been the case on occasions, but there have been games when he has looked very threatening - his performance against Chesterfield was outstanding (think he had a perfectly good goal disallowed that game too). I think there is a case for saying that in games when teams park the bus...

    Port Vale (Home) Match Thread

I'd play Kent ahead of Lameiras (and I like Lameiras). Kent is hugely talented and massively under appreciated by most city fans. It would be a travesty if we were not to play someone with so much ability on the basis that he is young, raw and a bit naive. Looked our most threatening player...

    Refereeeeeeeeee

The decision the wear red I suspect was down to the away kit sponsors wanting to get some exposure on TV. Possibly part of the sponsorship deal that we should try to wear the away strip on TV if possible. We did the same at Burton when we could have worn the home strip.

    Game under threat?

No chance of it being off. Rain due to stop about now and no rain forecast between now and kick off. Stop flapping.

    Quality Celtic song

I think you're about the first person I've heard say that. The difference is huge. The reaction of away fans confirms that - many have been complimentary this season, whereas last term they were falling over themselves to declare how shit it was. It does largely depend where you sit on I...

    tickets for Saturday

Perhaps, but historically not the case. Judging by the non-regulars I know, they all seem to be going to Vale, but very few going to Oldham. Hopefully big turn-outs for both.

    Doncaster Rovers (Home) Match Thread

Doncaster mix it up a bit I think, but Ferguson teams usually try and get it down and play. Apparently the quality of the football has improved massively since he came in. One thing I've noticed about the Ricoh is how well it is sheltered from the wind. Last weekend was windy, but not that...

    tickets for Saturday

Boxing day will be much the larger attendance. Oldham falls on the day that football crowds in England are at their lowest so the price offer was done to counter that. Hopefully will be decent, but I reckon we could hit 20K on Boxing Day. No more than 12.5-13K today though.

    Concourse

The main issue is that there should be another outside smoking area for those in blocks 15, 16 and 17. All those people have to walk along the concourse past those waiting for a pie of a piss and it gets gridlocked.

    Gillingham (Home) Match Thread

All other blocks are full. They have opened 25 and 26 for sale in the shop, but evidently they forgot to open them for sale online before they left work yesterday so online sales have effectively been suspended since tea time yesterday - unless you don't mind sitting on your own in block 2.

    Guess the gate

Perhaps it would be, if that was the actual attendance, but you are guessing. Not a very good guess either considering 12,300 have already been sold and a large walk-up is expected.

    Guess the gate

Will comfortably be over 14K based on sales so far. Given the amount of people (who aren't regulars) I know who are paying on the gate tomorrow, coupled with the extra security checks, has delayed kick off written all over it.

    Guess the gate

Love the way the club are still tweeting 'Buy online, save money!', and yet online tickets practically sold out. Singles only in East Stand. Have a ST myself, but trying to get tickets for a couple of lads at work and can't. Can always pay on the gate obviously, but seems odd they won't release...

    club shop arena park

True, but that said the online system still doesn't work on tablets or phones, and it's a surprising how many people don't use desktops or laptops nowadays. This has been a known issue for years and should be a simple fix.
