    If they seize the moment and negotiate the 150k sliding scale rent. Then I think they would be both medium and long term. The alternative as you say building a new stadium is patently not a viable option.

    This is the frustrating part No one seems to questing Ms Sepalla or Mr Fisher over this. They ask them what their plans are they say borrow money and build a stadium. No one then says right and how do you intend to get a return on your investment? They really can't with that plan.

    I think he misses the point that it is not in law not to speak whilst the JR is in process. It is what their legal advisors have advised them to do. I would hazard a guess this is because the JR is currently in a very strong position for the council. About the only thing that may weaken that...

    Rearranging the football fixtures and having that agreed that they will play second fiddle to other ACL more profitable adventures could swing it. So if one direction can only fit the Ricoh in on a specific date then football match gets moved. If of course the Ricoh would make more money...
