Durham Heard that Steve Bruce was annoyed that the Fulham manager held onto the ball instead of returning it at a throw in. It was described by the commentator as unsporting and ungentleman like. Durham scoffed and said why would he help Fulham? Agreeing with actions of the Fulham manager.

You should be asking the question the other way round, SISU said ridiculous. Where did decent come from? Hence why I posted the quote. It will be interesting to see what their version of ridiculous is. In the past this has unfortunately meant ridiculously low.

They offered to pay back What someone had to go to court to ask for? I take it, this is as straightforward as you say?

No they have always said it has to be a ridiculous offer. ( for me ridiculous would be 5 times someone's value) Maybe at the end of this thread I will know what Waggot actually said.... “We possibly could anticipate offers coming in but we have spoken about it, myself and Steve Waggott...

I expect we play at a stadium in our home city, where the club themselves agree. That if we agree the rental deal we would make more money and the players then stay. What do you expect?

As much as it would never happen these days. It is a shame now that in sport you are viewed as an idiot if you follow the principles of Fair play

    A Christmas toast

I am personally shocked to hear that Cov fans did not approach our owners at the time and ask them not to sign players. Shame on us all.

Can't think why Joy would want a slice of this ??

Think PH4 wanted to do it by buying the Higgs share as well as owning the club. He seemed to think you could make money without the freehold. Can't see how that could possible, surely not? Who knows though maybe he would have just agreed a deal then walked away.

Players 10% Wage Cut Vs Finance New Stadium

That was a rumour that came true. We approached Walsall they said no thanks.

    Players have wages slashed

SISU give everyone so much ammunition anyway by treating Cov fans like absolute muppets. Don't see the point of people making things up.

Players 10% Wage Cut Vs Finance New Stadium

Read this and thought a few things One where is the evidence? Two SISU said they can fund the losses so it is unlikely Three would they say take a cut in your wage so we can build a stadium? No most players won't be here in five years time so why should they. Secondly they know that SISU...

    A crazy idea but....

Because they will never spend the 35 million ( including loses over 5 years) They hope to get the Ricoh for less than 10. The council should call their bluff and say we will accept buds starting at 40 plus as the stadium is superior than the proposed one.

Did Tim gamble with our place in the league?

Nothing to do with that. It's about money and getting the Ricoh for a song.

Did Tim gamble with our place in the league?

And what did they think about Boothroyd?
