Yeah they did a jazz series of albums last year. Bought a couple I didn't have and a replacement copy of a couple more as my copies were in poor condition. It's a great idea. Still a bit pricey though.

    Torch's Counselling Thread

Consultant rang this morning. Good news is thanks to the chemo i am now officially in remission, no sign of leukemia. However, bone marrow transplant won't be ready until mid/late April as they had already said so i have to go into Cov on Tuesday for another month for more chemo. Couple of weeks...

Yeah, I've sold some stuff to Jap buyers before. They love early 80s and twee, jingle jangle. Remember selling a Mighty Mighty 12" on Ebay for £120 to someone in Japan. The Sent From Cov albums were good, plus the Sound of Leamington Spa ones too covering Woodbine and John Rivers.

I had bad back ache for a couple of days, now just tender where the needle went in. I'm a big girls' blouse.

She also said the nurse was shaking her head to my wife as if saying she couldn't get a sample. She tried three times - agony each time - and after every time said sample wasn't good enough. In the end she got one of the consultants in who said it was ok. Such a relief. I'm still traumatised...

Yeah, it's a bitch. Out of all the things I've been through that has been the worst. Still, others go through a lot more than I ever will, so I shouldn't really complain too much. I'm luckier than a lot of cancer sufferers. So far anyway!

What are you currently listening to?

Mmm....I might have a little time to spare over the next few months. It would be good to try and open my mind to "new" music. I do tend to be a little inflexible when it comes to listening to new bands, etc.

Don't think I've heard anything by Arcade Fire. There is a good KTP website with interviews, downloads etc.

They do, a local. However, they go really deep and basically chip a bit of your bone away for the sample. The local is fine for when the needle goes into the skin, but not when it goes so deep. They take two samples, bone marrow fluid which isn't too bad but the bone marrow sample is the...

Have to see the consultant 3pm on Monday, so even if I go back in it won't be on Monday, so I'll have one more day than I thought I would have.

Loved Kissing The Pink. That was a cracking single/album despite being a SAW production. They were on TOTP on BBC4 last night doing Last Film. I have loads of unreleased mixes and demos (from all albums) if you ever want a copy.

I actually started Shacknet (not sure if you've heard of it) in 1998 - it's still going strong - I baled out from running the site about seven years ago. I was a big Pale Fountains fan in the 80s and continued when they morphed into Shack. I've seen Shack loads of times over the years. Not...

    SBS&L accounts 2016

A lot of people are missing the point - as they did in the 32000 tickets sold already thread. I don't have a go at anyone who has decided to go to Wembley who hasn't been in years or suddenly decides to attend. I do have an issue with people like Beduff (and other NOPM crusaders) who in the...

Yet you were the one telling me I seem to remember that I had no principles/morals for attending. You're just another NOPM hypocrite. There's a growing band of you.
