Oh I agree entirely about taking him off (now the game's finished and we won). I was wondering if it was worth risking starting him at all in case he reinjured himself given this was a game I fully expected us to lose. I thought if anyhthing if we were losing we might bring him off anyway for...

Yes Biamou has poor games - he's playing at the very limit (if not slightly above) of his standard but his effort does help, but without Biamou today we don't get the penalty (which was pretty shit but went in) or create the chance for him to score a very good second. Walker will score goals...

Absolutely superb from start to finish, against a very very good side at this level (even if they were missing Ivan Toney just in case anyone was unaware - Sky barely mentioned it). Do wonder if maybe Brentford were a bit complacent give how we've played in the last few games. Again nice to see...

Of course they are. Because they talk, not listen, assuming that what they think is right and so won't even consider any other opinions.

If someone went down injured now could they go down clutching their head and claim a concussion protocol sub?

    Match Thread Brentford

Yeah. If things going well doing like for like subs is sensible, which is what MR tends to do naturally.

Also add some dark arts and sensible yellow cards taken for the team. Also Kelly haranging ref and not pissing about at the back. Such a massive difference from the last two games.

I think I woke up today in an alternate reality. Attacking intent, a penalty, scoring from a defensive error, other team getting an injury, sensible subs made in good time.

Could see the likes of Sheaf and Eccles learning from him if he hopefully signs a new contract.

Maybe baka on for Walker soon. Might bring on Rose cos Hyam on a yellow.

I think you can tell Sky spent a lot of their prep for this game focusing on Toney

We didn't sack him. He left to take over somewhere else - Huddersfield I think.

I'm now convinced the teams are playing in the wrong shirts as there's an injury and it's not for us.

2-0! A penalty and a defensive error we score from. Are we ABSOLUTELY sure the teams are playing in the right shirts?

I kind of agree but if we're still ahead can we afford to potentially risk points if he goes off? If we're still ahead and he's not feeling anything keep him on as long as possible *I know this is directly in contravention to what I said pre game when I was unsure if we should've risked Kelly...
