I agree. Assuming we keep Kelly, of those James is probably the one we could afford to miss out on most. Of course in an ideal situation having him in the squad would be great esp for the inevitable Kelly injury at some point but if Kelly can start to teach Sheaf and Eccles to be more vocal and...

Probably. But the issue of keeping Walker, Godden and Collins happy still remains in that scenario. Admittedly it'd be a nice problem to have and if Godden does end up having a recurring injury we've got that other option readily available. Budget also needs to be considered as it'd take a fair...

    Barnsley esc performance

Yep. We tried the playing out from the back and kept on getting pressed and losing the ball but up until yesterday it's not something we ourselves had tried. Even the best teams like Man City and Liverpool fuck it up and concede goals, but they've got quality that if they do break through...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

I think academically that could be the case - two polar opposites. Those wanting to learn aren't being disrupted or distracted by those that don't and can go at a pace they want, often quite a bit quicker than the pace of the class. On the other hand those than don't want to will be massively...

I think he might to play for his home town club but only if money was comparable. Although he has the experience now he's not a long term option with high resale so it would be a bit against our transfer policy. If anything were to happen here I reckon it'd be more along the lines of a Godden...

That may be the plan but whether it'll be feasible is highly doubtful. Osti I reckon is likely to get quite a few offers both here and abroad (Germany most likely) and quite a few of those interested will be able to offer him more and probably be closer to being able to meet his high ambitions...

Kasta Appreciation Society Thread Announcement (KASTA)

I think it's probably about a quarter of a century too late for that. Even a hitman is harsh. Hoping the club can cash in on the old insurance for him?

    Referee Analysis Brentford

Well he did come out for the first half practically in our kit, so the opposition may have though he was our henchman. When he reality he's just a hench man.

Why? We've got the year option in our favour, he's played the most games this season and slightly uncomfortable on his wrong side. Given Osti will leave and is unlikely to come back and mcFadz is totally out of contract and a lot older we'd be left in a situation of replacing our three first...

Unfortunately our finances don't let us take sentimental options. We have to try and get a resale value while we can just to be able to have enough to adequately replace him.

It's the Robert Rosario argument. People complained about him and his scoring record, then he left and we stopped scoring. Others playing may be scoring the goals but it can often be down to the player providing the passes/crosses and/or another player creating space and occupying defenders that...

Well you reckon cup games don't count towards goals scored stats so I guess Houchen's header just isn't a thing for you.

Little bit pot and kettle seeing as you were the one who was using the stat Biamou hadn't scored a header as some majorly important stat and wipe half of Biamou's goals off for spurious reasons like he scored it on a Wednesday in a thunderstorm while wearing green pants.

    Leon McKenzie-Stephen Hughes.

No he didn't but what I didn't like was that as the supposed creative spark he either passed it backwards immediately or took so long to turn look up and pick a forward pass (often a very simple rather than decisive one) the opposition had regrouped. Killed off so many potential breakaways and...

    Godden

Given how well he linked with Biamou probably a big man. Someone to do the donkey work and leave him with the job of putting the ball in the net.
