    Racism in football

I don't think there is? You can speak openly about this sort of thing, that's not being racist or assuming everyone is white.

    PFA Backs Tevez

City have bottled it! Shame, could have done with a bit of "club power" for once.

Jesus I didn't hear about that.

What the hell, he broke his back? Is that right?

    PFA Backs Tevez

They'll always back their members. I think the general public back Man City on this one and I also think the general public don't care about Carlos Tevez anymore.

Ah, fotballs dark ages, thank god we left them behind

Like I said, I don't think it's anything to do with seating. We still go to grounds where there's standing and there's a lack of trouble. Then I've seen trouble at all seaters and also outside grounds. I think it's more the mentality now - if fans want a fight they arrange it for outside. Just...

Ah, fotballs dark ages, thank god we left them behind

I don't think it has much to do with standing, and as it says in the report, the seating has actually added to the cost as they were used as missiles! But yeah, FIFA and UEFA won't take a blind bit of notice of this.

Nothing more than a prediction stated as fact. Not saying none of those will happen, just don't say it as fact.

    Meet the Manager

I truly cannot believe the amount of criticism that's been handed out about tying Bell, Baker and McPake down to new, longer contracts. If we get any money for them in the long run then surely that will have been worth it - but people are looking short term, again. I also have no beef with any...

    Racism in football

I've never been comfortable round racism but I know what you mean, because when I was younger I didn't know exactly what it was, I just knew that I wasn't comfortable around it. However, another couple of factors in that I think is the era in which people grew up (going back to my dear nan!!)...

    Racism in football

Other way round I think it was as he was at Barca before Real. I've got to admit, I've never heard, that I can think of off the top of my head, any racist remarks. Home or away! I think I must just concentrate on the match too much and be oblivious to anything round me! Actually, I tell a lie...

    West Ham

Yup, correcto. The quality of football may have something to do with it but people have been turning up to football matches in their thousands despite that for years. This is the variable that's changed, the prices. Macca, what bigger city teams don't get decent crowds? Apart from teams in...

    West Ham

No, you didn't, but my original post was arguing why we don't get 3000 like ccfcway said! Like Willie says, a city of this size should be getting bigger crowds (you can use excuses, the people of Coventry do that well!) but, fundamentally, there are things more important on a Saturday than...

When Saturday Comes - Spoilt for Choices?

Nope, AT said one of the goals was Bigi's fault, nothing to do with Bell.

Wigan were only elected to the football league in the 70's! They'll start getting a few more in maybe the next 10 years if they stay in the Prem but historically it's full of Rugby league, Man Utd and Liverpool fans.

    10 pts

How have Brighton done that!!! Even 5 extra points would look good right now. Lack of experience on how to close a game out and now getting into bad habits.

    West Ham

Nope, I was pointing out the reason we don't get 3000 is probably because we were in the top league for over 30 years. You may think that your theory is logical but the actual logic is that we were in the spotlight a lot for over 30 years and gaining fans, young and old, no matter how apathetic...
