    Cup draw

As an aside, In what logical world are Blackburn 50/1 with PP and SkyBet to win the FAC and we're 80/1? They are at home to Newcastle, we're playing a team in Weymouth's league.

Match Thread Coventry City - Sheffield Wednesday [FA] Match Thread - Tuesday 6th Feb

Sheffield Wednesday manager comments ahead of the game. "I have to look on Monday at who is available and who is not. It will be like today (Saturday), I will make the final decision on who can play and sometimes it is not clear even to the warm-up. You have to decide who can start and who...

Dion - 10/15 per season? He scored 72 in 4 seasons including the golden boot in 97/98.

Anyone on here collect old match day programmes?

I collect. Own just shy of a thousand. almost every home programme since I started following the club in 83/84 plus some aways and Wembley matches. Interestingly (possibly the wrong word) I have been looking through some of my 84/85 ones today.

    FA cup replay

Already booked our hotel tickets for the Preston game. Plus I’d have to take the kids out of school on Friday lunchtime if it’s moved to then so I’ll get it in the neck from the wife. Fucking bastard ITV.

With the Maidstone match confirmed for Monday 26th will the Preston game be moved (if we get past Wednesday)? 🤔

    FA Cup draw

Yes please, would definitely have preferred a battering at the Etihad rather than an almost certain home win against a non-league team for a place in the quarters.

    FAC Quarter Finals

The words have origins in different languages, so that English has applied meanings to them which don't necessarily correlate with their memes. "Cargo" derives from a Spanish word meaning "load" which was derived from the Latin "carrus" a wheeled vehicle, which survives in English as "cart."...

    FAC Quarter Finals

Not really. Birmingham 19 QFs or better (57 years in top flight) 1 QF for every 3 years of top flight Stoke 16 (62) About 1 in 4 Leicester 18 (55) About 1 in 3 Southampton 21 (46) About 1 in 2 Coventry 7 (34) 1 in 5 Any more questions?

    FAC Quarter Finals

7 in total, my adding up was crap earlier and thought 6. The list is 1909/10, 62/63, 72/73, 81/82, 86/87 (the one I missed ), 97/98, 2008/09.

    FAC Quarter Finals

Oh and we finished top 10 in the top flight 7 times (I think).

    FAC Quarter Finals

Norwich 6 Birmingham 19 Stoke 16 Southampton 21 Leicester 18 Nothing to do with 'bigging us up'. For a medium/large-ish club 7 is a pretty low number for 140-odd years, as is Norwich's.

    FAC Quarter Finals

Looked up similar sized clubs historically, Leicester and Southampton, and they've been to 18 and 21 QFS (or beyond) respectively. 6 is mental.

    FAC Quarter Finals

In 140 years we've only ever reached this far on 7 occasions. That seems really low for a club of this size especially when you consider you only need 3 wins to get there if you are playing in the top two leagues. Can anybody on here lay claim to having attended all of the last 6 of these (the...

Why was it? Same division gap plus Ipswich at home. Imagine Sutton beating us at HR.
