Ultimately, everyone will pay. See those houses burning yesterday? Few years time that could be any of our homes.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

So we've either got Mr. Austerity+, because he's rich and doesn't have working class mates so he won't see there being any problems, or a woman so far out of her depth she'd drown in a paddling pool. Truss is so monumentally stupid that Boris looks like a mastermind next to her. Boris is...

I don't think anyone's disagreeing with that. It's that the systems and services need to be put in place or improved that enable the change. That's not happening. Even after a huge pandemic the desire was to just 'get back to normal', even for things which didn't need to go back to the way they...

Apart from the methane etc. and the energy used in other areas of the production process like butchery, we could change land use from grazing or growing animal crops to other plants which could have a greater ability to store carbon. Of course some of that land would need to be used to make...

I'd love to travel by bike more, but I don't have a death wish so I'm not doing that.

To be fair, there is a service that does let you do this. I know people from work have used it. Obviously still not as quick or convenient as personal transport. I think with car use it's more about using it unnecessarily. Like going to the shops for bits and bobs if you could walk. Some people...

What is Jack Burrough's best position?

To be fair, on the bench would be pretty good at this stage of his development. Is there anyone in the first team you'd play him ahead of?

So shouldn't this apply even more to those with even more things? Stuff like massive houses, a fleet of cars and a yacht/jet? I think they could go without them a lot more than me going to the shops in a small hatchback.

    Ex Player Watch

Seems like our academy is becoming more of a nurturing ground for reality TV than footy.

    WHAT! He only played yesterday!

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

It depends on what type of intelligence. If we're talking about pragmatic realism, then yes, centre ground would be. Those more to the left maybe don't have that realism as much, and their ideas are more radical, but that doesn't necessarily make them bad or unintelligent. Look at some of the...

    Match Thread Walsall Away (Hot)

I do wonder if it might include more development players, but I think it's likely to be on the caveat of others leaving, especially high earners.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Well, if the size of the pot only grows if you pay into it, surely giving tax breaks to those most able to pay into it is a massive problem. A policy which has been a cornerstone of Tory thinking for a long time. So, from this are you saying you think that the Tories are looking to privatise...

    Sunderland tickets

Well, you'd hope so it's just the massive drop from 1k to this years ST. It would be gutting to be on 999 points having had a season ticket in every other year but not got one this to have to wait for general sale.

    Train strike 30th July

Fucks sake. Even Marie Antoinette would let people have cake! Do you know who could look inwardly? The companies and individuals who are making more money than ever before while others struggle. But why would they do that when there will always be someone else to pay - the public.

This is what happens when you condition people to value money over all else.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Yep. I'm not a fan of Labour but they're an improvement on this lot and if they're the only likely people able to displace them then that's how I'll go, even though I'd be more akin to vote Green idealistically.

    Climate change and activists

Nope. Had sympathy for their aims before. Felt the way they went about it might be slightly counterproductive as it will annoy people and also holding up traffic just means cars are sitting there spewing out fumes for longer.

It's more the way this one has been staggered. 1200, 1100, 1000, ST this year, everyone else. The bands just seem a bit odd with the first few groups really close together then a massive gap.
