    ROBINS CONFIRMED...ON THE OFFAL...

Telegraph are saying his initial contract runs to summer 2018, which I guess becomes the annual rolling deal mentioned elsewhere.

    ROBINS CONFIRMED...ON THE OFFAL...

I wonder when they contacted him initially. For him to already be in taking training today and to be overwhelming bookies favourite before they'd even rubbed Slade's name in felt tip off the manager's door suggests it's been a while.

Season ticket rethink ? ..the Robins factor.

Same boat as runner. Things would need to change substantially for me and while Robins is a promising sign if he's anything like he was, I need to see a lot more to even begin to be convinced.

    ROBINS CONFIRMED...ON THE OFFAL...

I was all for him and he started with the best intent, signings that seemed to be exactly what we were missing too.

More blaming of season ticket holders by stupids. If the cap fits!!!!

    ROBINS CONFIRMED...ON THE OFFAL...

It all reads as though looking at next season rather than desperately trying to salvage this one

    ROBINS CONFIRMED...ON THE OFFAL...

Main point from that is 'beyond the current season', an appointment aimed just at keeping us up would have been a colossal waste of time.

    More to come

Last season Palermo had eight different managerial appointments - one was a caretaker who lasted longer than the shortest permanent manager, and the first two managers sacked came back for another spell later in the season. There's no owner like a mad Italian owner.

Robins leads us out at Wembley.

I don't think it matters who leads them out. When people gave a shit about the FA Cup you'd see teams being led out with a sense of prestige, but the JPT in 2017?

So, who do we think are the Robins type players here

He also mentions Blair Adams as a player Robins liked. I thought it was weird that we let him go when we did.

Robins leads us out at Wembley.

We should have won the JPT when he was here before, so clearly he's come back for unfinished business. And this time... it's personal. Coming to cinemas near you in April. Rated PG

    Pressley

If we were just going back in time, thank fuck Robins said yes as Andy Thorn was next in line

Exclusive - mark Robins to be named

I always think the credit has to be shared, a successful goalscorer can only flourish in the setup a manager puts out, and the right striker can make a manager's setup work incredibly well. Getting the right combination needs a little from either side, even when I hated Robins for walking I felt...

Exclusive - mark Robins to be named

The Telegraph headline described him as 'ex Man Utd striker'. Surely that's less relevant than 'former Coventry manager'?

Exclusive - mark Robins to be named

Both. If McGoldrick had the power to improve a team all by himself Ipswich would be doing a bit better than they are

If he's named tomorrow, they've been talking to him for a little while?

    Slade gone

Dowie and Pressley are the only real exceptions, Andy Thorn of course has never been a football manager
