Not sure I agree with you there. I'd say Godden is more of an instinctive, natural finisher than Walker. If I could guarantee them being injury/covid free next season, I'd gladly have them leading the line together. Walker playing a slightly more withdrawn role. I think them two, with O'Hare...

    21/22 season expectations

We did have a few silly games over the season where we chucked away points and perhaps should've won. If we have a similar season to this but just turn around 3 games, that extra 9 points puts us in 10th so the top 10 has to be the goal next season. Our team has a seasons experience under our...

    Table in 2021

I said in the first few months of the season, we were off pace as the majority of the division had more match sharpness due to playing into the summer from the previous season whilst we had a few months old. I think this table proves that a bit. Once we were up to speed on the match fitness...

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

Wasn't Hamer one of the best in Europe last season for assists in his age group? Seem to remember some graphic of him alongside some good names.

    Derby Sheffield Wed Match Thread

Yeah kinda the same. There's clubs you 'like' as a kid without supporting them. None of your mates support them so don't give you sh!t when you lose to them, they're not arrogant and seem like a decent club. Wednesday certainly were one of those clubs as I grew up...no issues with them and...

    Ben Sheaf future

Is there actually any interest from us or any concrete rumours about us getting Walsh or is it simply wishful thinking on 'our' behalf?

Announcement on Ricoh future today - The Coventry Building Society Arena

I'm not sure cost will be a concern - they'll get money from the sponsorship deal itself as well as this grant that goes to 'improving' the Arena. I hope you're right about just moving them around but like I said above, they'll need to change a portion of the seat colours to get rid of the word...

Announcement on Ricoh future today - The Coventry Building Society Arena

I'd say it's more likely. There's a large RICOH in dark seats that needs to come out and need placing...they need to do that. If they need to change those, wouldn't it make sense to do them all at the same time?

Announcement on Ricoh future today - The Coventry Building Society Arena

Still nothing on the seats and whether they'll be changing colour. Why am I worried about this?!

Announcement on Ricoh future today - The Coventry Building Society Arena

Yeah, I know. That's Nicks point...people still call things by their old names. Like me. Calling Boltons stadium by it's old name. The Reebok. Even though it isn't called that anymore...

Announcement on Ricoh future today - The Coventry Building Society Arena

I don't think it'll be abbreviated to the CBS arena either. Although the branding on the roof of the exhibition hall and the big red Ricoh lettering on the stadium will be a ball ache to replace with such large letters!

Yeah, I still call Boltons stadium, the Reebok.

Yeah great point to be fair. Now's the time to do it if they're going to do it. They'll have to spend some money on it now.
