    Investment on the Horizon?

Scunthorpe made a loss of £3,179,015 in 2014/15 and a loss of £2m the year before. I'm going higher.

    You're the chairman

Nick is right. We are where we are and nothing that anyone does can change the fact that SISU will go only when they want to and until then they will be putting no more money in. But that isn't the real problem here - indeed I actually think it's a good idea to have a sustainable profit-making...

What's your favorite Christmas song/pice of music

Yeah, love the Polyphany too - Monteverdi; Palestrina & we always listen to the Allegri Miserere on Christmas morning. I always say when asked about Christianity that I like the architecture, the art and the music. Shame about the made up stuff.

    sisu investors

I agree that if you could find them it would ruffle SISU - but I think that there would be legal action taken against anyone that did start to harass them. I also think that you won't find out who they are.

    From A Sheffield United

David, you and your fellow supporters don't seem to have any idea what has been going on here at Coventry. I won't go onto one of your forums to explain because I think that would be a rude intrusion - and unnecessary as we all seem to be reading each others' forums anyway. Remember this isn't...

    1m profit this year.

They have a right to make a profit - I have no problem with this. God knows they have lost enough money in previous years. It's their weasel behaviour and running down of the club that I object to.

Well done Anthony; you have excelled yourself. Not only proud of showing no empathy for fellow fans you have gone out of your way to sign up to our forum and rub our noses in it. Do you have a tiny little dick by any chance?

Some people are twats. Some twats support SU and some support the Sky Blues. Extrapolating from that to make pejorative remarks over the whole of Sheffield and all SU supporters is rather dumb IMO.

Skysports - Coventry 1-2 Sheffield United: Protests overshadow Blades win

No excuses for Fisher from me. He is bright - he must be, he works in market risk management which is one of the most intellectually difficult bits of investment banking. Venus is a cog, Fisher knows full well what he is doing and should be ashamed - not only for the pig's ear he's made of...

The irony here is that he made his career in risk management. He must know he's fucked this project up good and proper.

Skysports - Coventry 1-2 Sheffield United: Protests overshadow Blades win

Well yes Reg. But listening to him talk he's obviously not that bright. We can argue that someone with such limited intelligence shouldn't be on the board but within his limitations he did well to tread a middle ground - pointing out that as the manager he cannot say anything one way or the other.

Match Thread Coventry v Sheff Utd Match Thread - Thursday 15th Dec

I thought that the team as a whole played pretty well last night, including DKE and Bigi. What we are lacking is any teeth up front, which is hardly surprising as we are playing kids. From last night, the team is just lacking a couple of wingers and a striker to partner Sordell to escape...

A good straight bat from Venus. He's not the most articulate of people clearly but he did the right thing in refusing to be drawn.

Everything sung at a football match is banter in my opinion - no reason to get upset about it. Disappointing, I agree, that they have no empathy but come on - remember that it's a handful of people who start a song and the rest like sheep follow. A classier response, rather than confrontation...

Obviously The Pogues, but I also like a bit of Gregorian chanting at Christmas.

Does anyone else get the feeling?

I don't think the performance on the pitch even registers - not a priority at all. If something leads to an exit it will be as Prefect says: sell up everything and exit stage left - not performances.
