Some Feedback from Les on SBT Leagal Action

It's not just 5 years though for there to be any arguement made for a new stadium to make us better off, it's not going to be in the next 25 years. after the 25 years once the loans have been paid off perhaps we would be better off, assuming the stadium was big enough, in the correct location...

Some Feedback from Les on SBT Leagal Action

No way, the costs involved in borrowing the money would be far in excess of the unsustainable rent, the loss of fans over the 5 years+ would hurt more than any food and beverage. We have not seen any indication whatsoever that there is any financial benefit to building our own stadium.

Some Feedback from Les on SBT Leagal Action

staying where we were was slightly unsustainable, mostly because of wages though, moving to northampton though is very significantly less sustainable and building a new stadium even less sustainable, so while we might have been uncomfortable sitting so close to the fire, we've now doused...

    new ground ??

If we are going to be away for 5 + years (and with the pace things are moving 5 years seems optimistic) I can't see myself having any interest in ccfc by the time we come back. I'm already at the point where my only connection with the club is a quick check of the score on the bbc website and...

Some Feedback from Les on SBT Leagal Action

"What's clear is there has been an attempt by a minority of (often anonymous) campaigners and commenters with vested interests and impassioned views to discredit me as a journalist and my journalism, which has been very well received by thousands of others. It won't work. I'm used to it. I laugh...

Trinity Mirror and CT also told to Shut Up

What is balance to you though, I consider myself impartial and balanced in that I started with no preconceptions and little preference towards any side and came to my conclusions based on the facts, on the evidence, on how people have behaved, if anything I had initial bias towards sisu because...

Trinity Mirror and CT also told to Shut Up

my view of balanced and Les Reids view seems very different. His view seems to be in the blue corner we have the people who think the earth is a sphere, lets give them 5 articles in support and to make their point, in the red corner we have the people who the people who think the earth is flat...

Trinity Mirror and CT also told to Shut Up

He was asked about it on twitter today, he was asked is it right for the club to threaten legal action. He ducked the question and said "It's balanced to say council/ACL/ #CCFC/Sisu dispute led to #CCFC at NTFC. Solely blaming owners as u& Conn do isn't" he was asked And again, is it right for...

Trinity Mirror and CT also told to Shut Up

The Libel laws in this country and the insolvency laws clearly need a big overhaul, they both seem to benefit the villains in many cases.

Simon Singh nearly had his life ruined by the chiropractic association and thats despite the support and resources he had to protect himself and despite the fact that that moral justice was clearly on his side.

Trinity Mirror and CT also told to Shut Up

There is no law about asking difficult questions, you just need to make sure you aren't making allegations, I really don't think that is difficult to do. People should not be bullied, if the CT did receive threats then they should publish the threat, there were too many people who had...

Trinity Mirror and CT also told to Shut Up

I wouldn't have jumped down your throat even if I'd disagreed, but I'd already read that article and agree that it was pretty good. The Telegraph havn't been terrible in all respects there has been some decent articles and there has been some information we didn't know (including from Les Reid)...

Trinity Mirror and CT also told to Shut Up

There is a big difference between a gagging order and a letter from a lawyer saying we are reading everything you write and if you put a single foot out of line we plan to sue and we won't give you access to the club if you don't tow the line. I don't belive for a second that the CT have been...

The Mr Labovitch interview CWR 06/12/2013

perhaps you are typing in the quick reply box, then hitting reply on the bottom post instead of hitting post quick reply, I've done that before, you'll just lose your message.

    AFC - a different approach

you support the give 100 thousand pounds to the people you are protesting about in order to show them and the world how angry you are with them despite the fact they and the world already know how angry you are and don't care protest.

    Sixfields v The Ricoh

I wouldnt go but it would go up by many thousands for sure, especially if they kept ticket prices similar till next year to make up for the lack of season ticket sales. I'd be surprised if it were lower than 8k.

"Name Your Price" says Ann Lucas

Arvo have charges over the assets dont they? so if ccfc got the freehold and were then liquidated arvo (sisu) get the stadium and we have no football club.

Poll - Who is to blame?

Oh and the disgraceful insolvency laws in this country had a big part to play too. What has happened should never be possible.

Poll - Who is to blame?

I voted sisu 100% as that is the closest to what I feel from your choices, however something like Sisu 70, Football league 15, Paul Appleton 10, Coventry Telegraph/CWR 4, ACL/CCC 1. would be my vote. Sisu are the architects of the villany but the FL, PA and the CT have all allowed it to happen...

What is the best case "realistic" scenario? RE the Ricoh

Not really because even if ccfc (itself not another sisu company) owned the ricoh (which isn't sisus plan, they plan to seperate from the start,) sisu could just then liquidate ccfc and sisu would get the ricoh.
