    Lost for words (arsenal tickets)

The club said themselves that moving to friday night wasn't a problem, that we took 8k last year on a tuesday night and that they saw no reason we wouldn't take the same this year. Once again spiteful sisu screw supporters.

Significant Council announcement on Ricoh coming

it didn't seem to be about the ricoh, though it might of been, certainly wasn't an annoucement, a 1 min statement saying they are going to try and pay off some debts by selling some things, renegotiating leases etc, but nothing specific.

    Driving to Arsenal

Thanks, it's not actually a disabled car park space I have but it's definatly worth asking, ty for the idea. My wifes, mum's husband is chairman of a first class county cricket team and he invites us to games at the cricket a few times a year, last year he took us to a game against warwickshire...

    Driving to Arsenal

Thanks Michael, I'm in a wheelchair so couldn't use the coach (or most the tube stops) but I'm lucky enough to have a car parking space at the stadium. However the stadium won't let you in more than 2.5 hours before the game and the police apparently shut the roads 2 hours before, leaving me a...

    Driving to Arsenal

Anyone have an idea of how long we should assume it will take to drive to Arsenal. Google says 1 hour 45mins but friday afternoon rush hour will just be starting and it says the same to whiteheart lane and that always took us way longer, we were going to go down the M1 and then the A1 and are...

Optimistic About The Transfer Window For Once

We were deducted 10 points for going into admin like everyone else We were deducted 10 points for leaving admin without a cva, here we were treated far more leniently than any other club, -15, -17, -17, -20, relegation, double relegation and expulsion are the penalties other clubs received for...

Optimistic About The Transfer Window For Once

I'm exceptionally disappointed that the FL don't apply their rules properly and fairly, it would have been very easy of them to say the golden share could only be sold to owners who have the best interests of the club at heart and so we won't allow it to be purchased by an offshoot of the...

    Play Offs To Much Now?

Relegation is still possible too, it requires a serious falling apart but if Leon goes, others may follow, Pressley might get pissed off, heads will drop, the pitch deteriates in the bad weather, we take more injuries to a tiny squad and suddunly we are losing most our games. Fortunately it...

Optimistic About The Transfer Window For Once

I wouldn't be complaining, it seems to me that if the rules were being applied properly we wouldn't be able to sign any players at all, we can count ourselves very lucky as well as lucky that we only lost 10 points.

    Leon Clarke transfer request

It's not really very conclusive, I'd be much more confident, with no mate, I'm not going anywhere, hoping to be fit for the next game.

question... if sisu sold up tomorrow...

I don't belive for a second new owners wouldn't be able to reach an agreement with acl. Acl might not have acted perfectly but this 100% wouldn't have happened without sisu and they are completely to blame for it not being sorted.

If we move back to the Ricoh

Nope thats not what I mean at all, of course everyone likes seeing great players playing for their team but what I want is owners whose aim is to do whats best for the football club, who are honest with the fans, who run a football club we can be proud of, who we can all get behind, it would be...

If we move back to the Ricoh

Dear Wum/idiot Yes the Ricoh is too big for a team in league one where the owners have spent a decade turning fans away, even then there are times where we need that capacity. However whats the downside of it being too big? too expensive? well is there a cheaper option? no, can you build a...

If we move back to the Ricoh

seriously thats giving a ridiculous amount of undeserved credit to sisu, they want the freehold for financial gain and only for financial gain make no mistake. They had done none of the really easy ways of solving this problem that don't requiring owning the ground, so why on earth would you...

If we move back to the Ricoh

you attempt to do both and by closing seats and increasing atmosphere you make the job of selling more tickets alot easier. Poor atmosphere imo is one of the main reasons for crowds falling over time and its self perpetuating, the lower the crowds, the less fun it is at the match, so less people...
