This story is being used by Corbyn's loyal band of antisemites on Twitter as 'evidence' that Israel manufactured the virus.

    Solutions to complete the Season

Most bookies have removed odds, others have shortened them - but you can still bet on Betfair Exchange. The only downside I see are that somehow they do manage to resume the season and we screw it up.

    Solutions to complete the Season

It seems to me that a bet on City winning the league at this point is a safe bet. Here's why: 1. The season's games are not going to be completed. It'll be worse in April - no way they'll start games again. 2. If the annul the season you get your money back. 3. But by any other method, I...

    Solutions to complete the Season

Wouldn't be fair. 1. Some teams may have played fewer games (Swindon/Crewe in L2) 2. Some teams may have a higher proportion of difficult games remaining. Pools panel would be fairer, albeit still imperfect.

    Solutions to complete the Season

When I was a kid, I used to write the names of all the teams in Division 1 on a piece of paper and put them in a cup. I'd then do the same with some scores and pull them out, recording the results. Every three games or so, I'd calculate the league positions. I must have cheated, because we...

If the season gets voided we’ll batter it again next season

To be honest, I find every word in this thread triggering. Can we just rename it 'Rejoining the EU'? On the positive side, it's likely to get far better engagement.

If the season gets voided we’ll batter it again next season

I don't like threads with the word 'season' in them.

    Coronavirus

Just caught 5 minutes of a report on Radio 4 with a guy explaining the announcements today. What I found interesting (not reporting verbatim and adding my impressions): 1. The panel assembled includes multi-disciplinary experts from historians to mathematicians. The correct approach IMO. 2...

    Jordan Willis

My bad; I meant the play-off final.

    Jordan Willis

Is he not enjoying himself up there? I hadn't seen that, what was said? One could also argue that he stayed for a lot longer than he needed to, despite clearly being able to play at a higher level. He gets maybe 12 years, 15 tops, to make some money from his talent. Have a little empathy.

Championship - How do we stay up?

I cannot see it. His skill and finishing is good enough for League 1 but I think his lack of pace will be too much of a burden in the Championship. Very happy to be proven wrong.

    Jordan Willis

Well I think Willis is a great player with lots of pace and technical skills. He wouldn't get into a winning team right now - but if he were here at the start of the season I'm sure he'd be playing over Rose or Hyam. McFadzeen is a different kind of player entirely so there's no comparing...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Shrewsbury Town Match Thread - Saturday 14th Mar

For God's sake man, look ahead! That graph is going to crash into the top of the window within a couple of weeks. The last thing we need right now are injuries.

Championship - How do we stay up?

I suspect there would be a fair amount of post-season transfer activity if we were to go up. The players who might be deliberately off-loaded, if we can, are: Mason; Hiwula; Max; Baka; Wakefield; Kasta and more controversially: Godden; Shipley; Westbrooke; Kelly; Jobello. I think we might get...

The same kind of wanker who thinks it's OK to hit a woman I presume.

    Agree, it's shocking isn't it?

    Ipswich Fan In Peace

Nah, we seldom score many... we score good team goals (by which I mean lots of passing and pleasing to the eye right up to the killer pass) but not a good amount of goals. If you score two we're not likely to win. But you're unlikely to score two.

Match Thread Ipswich v Coventry Match Thread

Can you quantify how well we need to kick the ball in order to score and avoid hitting the keeper? Anything between 6 and 12 kick units I think is the ideal range.
