Best Performance by an Opposition Player

I remember watching Joe Cole the FA Youth Cup final versus West Ham. I've never seen one player dominate a game as much as that.

    Match Thread Walsall v Coventry - 17th January 2004

I watched until we went 3-1 up. At that point it seemed obvious we would win so I went and did some gardening. Anyway, what I wanted to say is, that I think that we play more attractive football now than then.

It won't feel right watching us win 6-1. Can't they choose a game where we play OK but miss some sitters and end up losing? Will be more typical of a Saturday.

Of course not, comrade. Don't be stupid. The race card only works when protecting Left wing people from criticism or ridicule. Please enrol yourself in the Richard Burgon School of Correct Thought.

My wife has been way ahead of the curve on this - she's been social distancing from me for over 10 years.

I'm not surprised that you think that but I disagree - returning the respect. I think that if one looks, one can find reasons to be negative in everything. But this hoarding is not the majority of people. We've also had notes through our doors offering help to neighbours. I think we will...

My wife got a tip on using newspaper. Apparently you should screw it up into a tight ball first and then unscrew and use - makes it a better experience. We're still a week or so away from having to try it.

I don't understand. Are you suggesting that I support racism and homophobia etc. by silence? Because if you are, then you are not only wrong but also bloody rude.

No, profiteering is not capitalism. Profiteering is making an unfair and unreasonable profit to take advantage of others. A business making a fair profit from selling is a necessity to ensure that people are motivated to take the risks of starting a business; putting in the effort to run the...

Completely agree. And each one of them is an individual which has nothing to do with any other superficial grouping that wankers like to make.

Just been to our local Tescos and got chatting with the guy I know on the fish counter. Part of their problem is lack of staff and getting deliveries through. So I've applied for a temp job there to help. I'd encourage anyone else in a position to help to do something similar. These are...

Same with me with the broad beans - I think I still have only about 5 left. Sowed some more a couple of weeks ago.

We have eggs too from hens and ducks. Been foisting them onto our elderly neighbours as there's far too many for us to eat.

Quorn is a Godsend. We stopped in the 80s and all you could get then was textured vegetable protein. Tasted like wallpaper paste.
