And, of course, the one who has played most regularly in the Premier League (well, as an outfield player) Eberechi Eze, hasn’t started either game.

Unforgotten is very good as well. To be honest, I watch pretty much every crime drama on BBC and ITV.

The food standards point is a valid one, no? Why would we wilfully not commit to at least the minimum standards of EU requirements which would allow more streamlined trade?

This attitude is part of the problem. Most of the u21 team play men’s football ffs, it’s not some jolly crèche based out of St George’s Park. And Haaland did his time in his u20/u21 side in 2018-2019. What’s your point?

Stop talking absolute nonsense. What handling of Jack Grealish? He was in the last squad and, if I’m not mistaken, started all 3 international games. He’s injured. And Mason Mount is a good player. Honestly, fucking rent-a-quote over here hearing something said on Talksport then parroting it as...

No, what I’m saying is that for someone like Bellingham he could play in the u21s from 16 to 18 and then be called up for the first team. There will always be a core of u21 players that aren’t good enough to become full internationals, it’s not just an England thing. But, for me, the u21s...

    England World Cup Qualifying Thread

I largely agree with that article, but it’s a little far fetched to claim Rice couldn’t play that holding role himself in a game where we had 75% possession. I’m also not sold on Kalvin Phillips at all. Yesterday I’d have played Rice and Mount, or even just Rice and Ward-Prowse.

It would just be one 2-year campaign, though. Do that from age 16 to 18 if you’re that good, then be eligible for the first team from 18.

There was a point made during yesterday’s game that a lot of the potential u21s were getting called up to the first team and that was hampering the quality (not sure I buy that, to be honest). I’ve thought for years that young players should do a full campaign of u21 internationals before being...

In which case, I’ve misinterpreted. Still, the basis is the same. I’d call that a legitimate complaint. For balance, if there was a textbook used labelling Muslims as terrorists I’d support their right to have that changed.

That’s as I read it as well. Hadn’t pulled up trees before arriving back, flattered to deceive whilst here, but seemed to hit the ground running as soon as he left.

I see. I really don’t see how either is comparable to this - the Hindu complaint is that they’d essentially been labelled terrorists in a standard issue textbook, and the Christian one is the USA. If these are the two best examples to show that other religions get their knickers in a twist in a...

No. It was the same season as Mathieu Manset, Nathan Eccleston, Denzel Slager and Jamar Loza. As it happens, also the same season as Wilson and Clarke.

    Mental Health

I’m in a very similar position to this. Much happier and healthier now I’m not spending 10-12 hours per week commuting. I do miss little things like the pub, going out for a meal, the football, but I’m quite matter-of-fact about them not being options currently. Hopefully not too long now...
