I've been watching 'Tales from the Loop' on Amazon. I'm not a big sci fi fan usually but this is an absolutely remarkable series. I cannot praise it enough. It's beautifully filmed and slow moving with realistic character development - just as I like it. It may not be everyone's cup of tea...

    Maybe two more...

And why would Bristol do that? You can definitely buy him but we want to wait a year before getting the money. And why would we want it? We know we want him, there's no trial run needed. I guess we'd take it if it was the only way but I cannot see the motivation for anyone wanting that.

    Maybe two more...

Robins said that he may have two more coming in. I cannot think what else I'd do at this stage so I'm guessing they would be development signings. Indeed if anything I'm rather expecting a handful to leave. Thoughts?

I reckon we'd thrash that team of the year.

Apologies if you have explained somewhere what your charts mean - but I have no clue what they mean. Could you republish what they mean?

I got this wrong - we won the title before Wimbledon.

    Wilson on the move

I know, he was just the vehicle for the joke - I know he served his purpose. I used to play regularly at work on Thursday lunchtimes. I don't have much natural skill and I don't really make up for it with tenacity - although I try. One of my team mates once said to me "You're much more David...

I agree - but I'd sooner see us boot it out than pass back to the keeper when he is under pressure.

Another thought about passing around at the back from a goal kick. I like the idea in principle but I think we can improve upon it with some extra rules. When teams press us and we get into trouble we just need to boot the ball out. Defenders would do that all the time when they are attacking...

I never understood that. If you didn't have a Dion who won the ball in the air most of the time you are just handing the ball to the opposition to attack you. Our kick offs also frustrated me. For years it seemed that we just kicked a diagonal ball for a winger to chase, which conceded...

It's being reported that Villa have withdrawn and Wilson prefers Newcastle.

Video Milton Keynes Dons v Coventry City highlights

I cannot see any point that Drysdale makes any contact with the player. It's possible his arm touches his back but it cannot be seen clearly - however that's after the player starts falling. I hope there are some more angles and we can prove he was unfairly penalised.

What are you currently listening to?

Is there anything better on a sunny Saturday morning than a coffee, a book and music? In preparation for the game this afternoon I'll be sitting down to Taylor's java; 'In the Country of Last Things' (Paul Auster) and Anouar Brahem.

This photo of Brennan after one of his diving header corners went wrong. Let's just hope that he's in the same form today.
