Football League statement - Coventry City

They are going to though arn't they, it's not far off a certainty from the way Fisher has been talking. So as usual they are deliberately dragging it out, they are clearly continuing the plan to distress acl and they need to stop that plan if they want acl to come to the table. not that there...

Football League statement - Coventry City

nothing stopping them except for the fact this deal is going to take a very significant period of time to complete as there are still massive sticking points, football club want revenues for free, acl can't give them due to contracts (honestly ones that can probably not be overcome without a...

Football League statement - Coventry City

As far as I'm concerned that attempt to distance themselves is an extremely clear indication that there is no intention whatsoever of dropping the JR.

Football League statement - Coventry City

which bit ? acl have said they won't talk until the JR is dropped so thats fact. the amount paid being fair is my opinion.

Football League statement - Coventry City

not acl;s move, still sisus move to come out and say we are not going any further with the JR, once they have done that then if acl refuse to talk we can pressure them, until that point the sticking issue is still sisu. it's kinda irrelevant though talks aren't going to get anywhere when sisu...

Football League statement - Coventry City

This is how I would have determined what acl were owed and is a fair and informed way to determine what they should pay, so well done to the football league for coming to a well thought out position and not a simplistic and uniformed one like asking for £290k which is what I expected from them...

    Looks like we're back

you are making very poor assumptions, you are assuming that at sixfields there are lots of people who only went a few times (fair) and not comparing it to the fact that the same thing happened at the Ricoh, The fact we had what 32k for crewe means that going down this route isn't going to...

    Looks like we're back

you're not factoring in away fans which are very clearly a much much bigger percentage of the average crowd at sixfields, the percentage of home fans that are going to sixfields is way lower than 24%, an educated guess would be around half that figure. say 12-15%

    Pressley - on the edge?

Personally I think he is a great manager but I also think he tows the line to much and that leads to him lying to us and telling us things he surely can't believe. I don't like that at all. We are still lucky to have him though and it seems very possible we'd be in a much worse state without...

you do misunderstand, weather the majority agree with him or not is completely irrelevant to what I said. I said he was misrepresenting the views of the sixfielders (ie misrepresenting what toorch thinks) not what others think of toorch. You called him out for a dickish post, I agreed with you...

your post was dickish, you know full well that the sixfield attendees aren't always "going on about how the atmosphere is much better" posts like that are annoying and unhelpful whichever side of the argument you are on.

I think you misunderstand, he was misrepresenting what the sixfield attendees have said and think just like you misrepresent what both groups and individuals on the other side have said and think.

There is also the fact that we were told they didn't want to and weren't planning to sell Wilson, so if all the wilson money has been reinvested and the budget is down 60% what would the budget have been without selling wilson? (which is what you told us was your plan) it would have surely been...

It's a terrible idiotic post, it is however very reminiscent off one of your posts, completely and deliberately misrepresenting what large numbers of people say and believe.

    Football league meeting today?

no he wasn't, but there are somethings you have to assume are true especially when you are in a certain position, just like the pilot the other day probably didn't believe the nutty guy saying he had a bomb but he wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't act like the guy was telling the truth, the...

alot of these press releases don't disclose the fee but they normally say something like substantial six figure sum. the quotes from both sides do nothing but talk about technology and so while we don't know it for a fact it strongly suggests it.
