    Tom Clarke of the Enemy

I agree. Maybe there is more to this than the public statements, but what he said seemed pretty fair on the face of it.

    Falcon Heavy Launch

There really are some morons out there. Not worth bothering with. Musk is a visionary. I'm convinced he will put men on Mars, using private money and costing less than HS2. Remarkable. So refreshing to see such ambition and vision working towards something that will unify and inspire humanity...

Not sure there's much in this. Ruane (iirc) just said the venues like The Empire are welcome but that the city needs a larger music venue in the city centre, something like Wolves Civic Hall, which seems a pretty fair statement to me.

New Ricoh deal close / One Year Agreed

I wasn't suggesting you were being deceitful (it was worded poorly); I was suggesting there was deceit in the argument that had been made a number of times in the thread and elsewhere that CCFC are of little consequence to Wasps/ACL commercially, which I don't wholly agree with.

New Ricoh deal close / One Year Agreed

Sorry, I don't really buy this. People seem to be trying very hard to downplay the football's club value to ACL, and I think it is slightly deceitful. The season before last, more people attended CCFC games than Wasps games (owing to the fact we play a lot more fixtures). It wasn't quite the...

£5 tickets for Accrington - Community Day

Looks like the seats they'd reserved for POTG are being released - it was block 22 earlier today and now a few hundred in block 14 and 17. I suspect that's about your lot now.

Yep, except for block 14 which has been on sale.

£5 tickets for Accrington - Community Day

Game essentially sold out now. Only about 150 tickets left to buy online, so unless they open up more in the south stand (I think only half of it open at the minute), I can see 27000 being about the limit, similar to the Gillingham gate.

    Motor Vehicle for Robins

It was a huge defeat really. We'd all convinced ourselves we had a shot at an automatic spot, but it's a long way off now it seems (although it may not seem it, but history tells us we have to average more than 2 points a game from hereon in). Ah well, who knows, it's certainly not impossible...

    Motor Vehicle for Robins

Like I said before, I don't think it's apathy, it's more a case of trying to look at the positives and not overreacting. But yes, automatic promotion has all but gone. 85 points needed (based on last few seasons) and we're not getting 35 points from 16 games (it's very unlikely). We can make the...

    Motor Vehicle for Robins

Sadly, I think we'll fall short this year. Generally speaking, no team that loses more than 13 games goes up automatically. We've lost 10 already, and we're just too inconsistent to think we won't lose at least another 3 games between now and the end of the season. Play-offs is very possible...

    Motor Vehicle for Robins

That may well be true, but to suggest we sack Robin's now would be nuts imo. What would that do to the team spirit everyone was euligising about a few days ago? Yesterday was very disappointing, and 2 points out of 15 against the bottom 3 may well cost us, but to panic now and change the manager...

    Motor Vehicle for Robins

It's not apathy. I trudged away from the game yesterday as pissed off and angry as I've been for a while. But, we're 4 points off an automatic spot, so take a breath. What do you think should happen then, we change manager 2/3 through a season when were in touch with the promotion chasers, or...

Now I'm convinced you're winding me up.

    Motor Vehicle for Robins

No answer to what, why we are 8th? It doesn't need answering because the answer is obvious. It's fine to be frustrated that we are dropping points against lowly opposition, and you look above us and you see plenty of sides we have beaten, including the top 3, so it is very frustrating. But...

£5 tickets for Accrington - Community Day

No, we only have 4.5k season ticket holders and have shifted quite a few since the 22k figure was announced. If you look online, far more tickets have been sold in East Stand than is usually the case a week from a game.

    Yeah, Blackburn was free iirc

    Mansfield away - limited allocation?

Has to be initial allocation, which is odd as they will sell in a day (much like FGR did). Notts County higher profile for them from a policing pov, so can't be that...

£5 tickets for Accrington - Community Day

Depends how you define 'actual' supporters. My wife is a teacher at a primary school in Cov and says demand has been massive, and it's coming from parents she knows to be city fans. Says she has spoken to a few and they are mostly people who have lost interest or who only go up now and again...

£5 tickets for Accrington - Community Day

Was just scanning through replies to the clubs tweet. Just the usual dreary, glass half empty, won't give the club credit for anything bollocks.
