Guess The Crowd v Notts County

    Why are you wondering that?

Guess The Crowd v Notts County

Yeah, Notts got a couple of big gates based on a £2 offer. I think our gates were fine. We averaged more than anyone else, so gate receipts would have been far in excess of other leading clubs. Lincoln and Luton particularly filled their grounds with ST holders paying £13 a game. Around half...

Notts County away - 2,000 tickets

I think the difference is down to the closure of the bottom 3 rows.

Guess The Crowd v Notts County

We actually finished top of the average attendance figures, skewed a little by that Accrington game granted: League Two 2017/2018 - Attendance

Will our fans behave at County?

It'll be fine. It'll be a different following there than the league game, less about a day on the lash, more about the game. Stewards/police will be all over it. It's part of why they close the bottom 3 rows for play off games. Not worth worrying about. You might equally ask if Notts fans...

Guess The Crowd v Notts County

Yeah, probably. To be fair, quite a few have shifted already this morning.

Guess The Crowd v Notts County

A surprising number of season ticket holders aren't bothering judging by all the seats released this morning.

Guess The Crowd v Notts County

I think people being a little over-ambitious with their estimates. It's only the 1st leg, it's on TV and it's full price. I think 20k from a standing start will be decent (a lot of unsold season ticket seats will be released tomorrow so we're a long way from filling one side of the ground). We...

    CWR - Robins

Not clueless, just a boy in a man's league. Far worse than Bayliss out there tonight.

    CWR - Robins

You expect him to do that in a CWR interview? That's for him to sort out. Right now he's probably as angry as the rest of us. Let him be angry. Post mortem can start now.

    EFL support tables

It's out of date as it doesn't include our 4K at Notts County. Our away average now over 1300 so we're in top stop. Will be pipped by Luton though as they have their big following at Notts County on the last day.

    Prem Teams In Lower League

    14. Would have got a few more without the time limit. Missed a couple of obvious ones.

    Cheltenham Away

I'm pretty sure this is 'Brummie Nick' (a lot of thought went into that), who was a regular on the SBA bus back in the 90s. He never missed a game back then. Haven't seen him for years. He's not alone I guess, but it is odd that someone clearly so engaged with the club doesn't go at all now.

Match Thread Coventry vs Lincoln Match Thread - 24th April

We do have the biggest support in the sense we have the highest league 2 home average this season which is likely to increase further with the two remaining games we have likely to be decent attendances. We have the best home average, despite it being our worst home average in something like 60...

Match Thread Coventry City at Notts County Match Thread - Saturday 7th Apr

The ''no pressure" argument some are using to try to discredit Max makes me chuckle. Desperate stuff. There was plenty of pressure hence how chances were being snatched at left, right and centre by others. We were desperately chasing a must win fixture. His goal at Newport was taken brilliantly...

Season Ticket Deadline Won't Be Extended

I was once told that 40% or so of STs are sold in the last few days before the end of the early bird period, which historically has always been extended to the end of the month, allowing for the fact that's when most people get paid. I had budgeted to get 4 season tickets at the end of April. I...

Had a pub crawl round town yesterday

The next phase will see Zizzi's, Bistrot Pierre and The Botanist. A number of new chains are set to open in the resorted Co-op building too. With the addition of the Slug and Lettuce, Coventry is well served by the better chains now, just needs a few more independent venues.
