People having a fucking meltdown over a goalless draw, while missing our two best forwards. Get a grip ffs.

You realise our speed of play was a direct consequence of their tactics? The lack of critical thinking on here sometimes is incredible.

Not unhappy with that. We had more of the game. Kept a clean sheet. We had the best chance. Should probably have won it 1-0, but if we can follow this up with a win at Cardiff that’s a decent return.

Millwall are well organised and happy to let us have the ball. Not sure why people are moaning, it’s a hard game to play. It’ll probably finish 1-0. I’d bring on Simms or BTA and shuffle Rudoni back into midfield.

…yes? Bassette got his goal then spent the afternoon missing chances, throwing himself to the floor and being offside.

Forgive me if “getting us up the pitch” against the donkeys of Plymouth doesn’t exactly go down as a win in my book.

Why so polarised? I like Bassette, think he could be a great player for us, just don’t think he’s ready to be playing the amount he is yet and Simms should be playing more.

Rather tenuous. Into Sheaf was a decent pass sure but I don’t give him much credit for Eccles scoring a 20 yarder lol

He got a standing ovation from some the other day for doing little. People like him because he runs around a lot but is there sufficient evidence that he’s actually contributing positively to results?

    Liam Kitching

It says there, initial bid £2.5m guaranteed, rising to 3m with add ons. That was rejected. Then 4m inc add ons, rejected, then >4m accepted. If the initial one was £2.5m rising to 3 I think it’s sensible to infer the final bid would have been at least 3.5m up front.

Tamworth Vs Spurs - Ticket prices

Funny but with no replays they can’t even play for a draw to get the revenue. Not hard to in understand.

No, just thought it was a interesting comment at the time. Also if you watch his interview he did on signing for us think he talked about almost joining us in L2, so it would line up that Robins has been an admirer for a while.

Robins did seem very fond of BTA, no? "Best centre forward performance for the club in a long time" or whatever he said

More stats for you all Our opponents converted that 23.0 xGA into 25.3 PSxG - suggesting weve faced slightly better than average finishing, nothing crazy though. From that PSxG we've conceded 34, 33 discounting an own goal. That would suggest ~7.7 of the goals we've conceded are down to the...

Presumably that will have to be in the first 15 minutes before his hamstrings disintegrate and his knees explode from the sheer physical onslaught of playing in the championship?

    Expected Goals Against

You're letting the perfect be the enemy of the good. "There's only 1 stat that matters and that's the score" - for determining the result yes, for analysing performance, no. Anyone who knows football will realise it's massively affected by variance. You can easily be the better team and end up...

    Expected Goals Against

Was talking about the first half. The point is, if you look at the shots we took critically you would not expect us to score 4 goals. Sakamoto's - decent chance but gets scored less often than you'd think, and arguably should have been saved. Eccles 1st - shot from 20 yards, rarely goes in. EMC...

    Expected Goals Against

lol Yesterday was a very good example of why it's not nonsense. First half, we had 4 shots on target and scored 4 goals, that doesn't happen very often. A combination of good finishing and poor keeping caused that. If you replay that first half over and over most of the time we would not score...
