    Goal or no goal

Then why haven't they released the still where the ball is over the line?
  2. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

If the tech failed why have they released a Hawkeye showing it not to be a goal? What are they gaining from it?
  3. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

But why have they chosen to do that instead of given the point where you think it would show a goal? What are the EFL gaining from cheating this goal away?
  4. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

And Gyokeres is given more often than not IMO
  5. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

So you reckon the EFL has chosen to only screenshot after the ball goes back in contact with the line. Why?
  6. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

And that one time they held their hands up and admitted it. Why would they lie for this? This is properly bizarre now.
  7. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

Instead of the quite simple solution that the technology works and you've misinterpreted a grainy twitter video you're going to say that the EFL has purposefully doctored an image to save face on an unimportant Cov v Hull game when the goal wouldn't have changed the result?

    Goal or no goal

there is plenty to criticise this ref on that I will back to the hilt. Tavares' pen was about as clear as any I've ever seen. Focus on that not something which isn't a mistake.

    Goal or no goal

Which is that the technology is working.
  10. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

you think it's more likely to have been a goal before it hit the player who knocked the ball back towards the penalty sport or something? Just take a loss and move on.
  11. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

Exactly what I expected. This certainty from a dodgy screenshot at an askew angle from miles away because you can see a bit of grass is bizarre.

    Goal or no goal

Don't agree at all. Also this poll is currently 5-9 in favour. It's in favour but it shows it can't be that obvious an error.

I thought when we got out of L1 it would get better and we'd see more footballing sides but if anything it's got worse.
  14. Liquid Gold

    Goal or no goal

No goal. I can see why people want it to be because the vast majority of the ball is over the line and there are MMs in it but from that angle there is nothing to suggest it definitively crossed the line at any point and the technology backs it up. Sky blue tinted glasses to say it was a goal.

    Without actual net investment

I think next season will be the first in MR's tenure where we regress and I'm interested to see how we handle it.

I think that's precisely what it is

Watch on from that, the ball is in the air there, it drops down to the line. The vast majority of the ball has crossed but not all of it.

Yep champ has goal line technology, ref's watch buzzes when it crosses the line.

I think it's ridiculous that the ref is going to get away with his multiple terrible decisions and penalties not given because people will focus on the one thing that was correct.

Yeah just because you can see grass means nothing. I think it was on the line
