I guess if you want to try and put a positive spin on it, you could say at least we're consistent.
That's not much use when we're consistently crap, mind you...
Whatever discussions they had after the last game, clearly haven't been taken on board, because nothing's really changed yet. It's still slow, it's still sloppy. We still don't look like we can break a team down.
That really does sum up the level of officiating in our leagues though, doesn't it. By and large, VAR has worked really well this tournament.
We get our hands on it, and it turns completely to liquid shit.
Look how Austria close down and press Poland. And how they try and get forward quickly when they force a mistake.
If only we could play like that, just once.
