    Ellis simms

Could that not be because BTA wants to go rather than Lampard wanting him to go? He seems like he's a player that wants to start week in week out rather than play second fiddle. I think there will be a conversation about what to do with the ST position in the summer. Simms has regressed...

Match Thread Luton Town - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 26th Apr

Not sure it's the easier of the two. Both have been in decent form but Luton objectively have a better side than Plymouth and their directness and physicality is basically kryptonite to us. We've consistently looked uncomfortable against teams that put long balls into the their attacking third...

    Player Ratings v Hull

He did look over his shoulder. Which shows how little anticipation for danger he actually has.

    Player Ratings v Hull

His awareness and anticipation of the danger around him was poor though as stated. If you look back at the highlights he actually checks back before the ball is played, yet he does nothing to close the gap despite him recognising there's an opposition in space and a ball is about to be switched...

    Player Ratings v Hull

JDS played well but the chasm of space he kept on leaving on our left hand side was eventually exploited. He's come on leaps and bounds recently but defensively his awareness is appalling sometimes.

Always going to happen when you don't put away chances. Really poor.

Looking a bit lethargic now. The intensity has gone. Could really do with some new faces on to freshen things up.

Poor awareness by Simms there you need to get literally any body part goal bound

    Peterborough Left Back

Anything but a 60k stadium i'd imagine. What they're proposing is completely absurd and isn't financially feasible.

Has that random blue pillar that looks like bins stacked on top of one another been built with the intention of improving Hull's already rock bottom aesthetic?

Lets be honest, the new stadium is nonsense. It's nothing more than a PR stunt to attract external investors.

Not really, they're two entirely different distinctions. By me saying it's not a massive blow that's me saying that while there's a negative impact, it's not a catastrophic one. Saying it's not an issue means there's no issue whatsoever. Thomas being out is a massive blow as there's no...

We certainly paid top end for EMC and Kitching but both are pretty solid signings. EMC has had a mixed year but I think with a full season of Championship experience under his belt we should see a lot more from him.

Do you actually take time to read posts first or just blurt out the first slice of fresh gibberish that comes to mind? I didn't say it wasn't an issue. I said it wasn't a massive blow, which it isn't - certainly not compared to Thomas being out which very much is given who's next in the...

Depends on opposition. If a team plays a low block and their CBs are going to be stuck on Wright like bees to honey all game then Simms needs to come in. I know people have their reservations about Simms but Wright may as well have not been on the pitch against Portsmouth. He clearly isn't at...

It's not particularly that mad. EMC has been poor since his return from injury. As mentioned as long as Wright stays injury free it isn't an issue.

EMC isn't a massive blow to be honest as long as Wright can stay injury free in the final run in. Thomas being out is an issue. Lati is far too pedestrian and slow to operate in a back four. Against a forward that is remotely athletic he'll be exposed.

They've been plagued by injuries all season and was always going to be difficult for them to keep momentum going with the amount of key players that left last summer. EMC, Burrows, Knight, and Edwards all went.
