I thought McNally and Hamer were standout today, Palmer also pretty good in general and Wilson made at least one brilliant save. We dealt relatively well with a really physical side today, if the ref could have got more of his decisions right we'd maybe have snatched a win.

I really, really can't see us being dragged into a relegation battle. The form is poor at present and they shouldn't get complacent, but some of the dross below us are absolutely hopeless. There's still enough in the squad to pick up the few wins required to get us to a 'safe' number of points.

I thought the ref was abysmal at times today. Surely a red for their player over the penalty (i'll admit to not having seen a replay yet) and god knows how the fould on Bidwell wasn't deemed a yellow either. I think we'd have had a far better chance of getting a winner had they been down to 10 men

Sometimes i just don't particularly want to go to be honest, that's really pretty rare though. Early saturday kick-offs are difficult to make as they clash with the my kid's football training/matches.

Was it ever made clear why he left? I'd assumed it was down to the player as opposed to anything we did wrong to be honest. On the guy in question if he's a winger i'd be expecting a change in formation if he's brought in.

You'd think a back 4 would have to be considered at some point given how few natural centre-halves we have. Sheaf, Dabo and Bidwell have been tried there and i'd not want any of that on a regular basis. Sounds like Cuffy could be a real threat down the right.

It has a feel of "luck of the draw" to me. If you get unlucky a few times in a row because you're next to the fucking shitheads i can see why you're perception would be different. I agree last season seemed worse.
