No, he'll blame everybody else including playing games in December and January etc. He did a great job initially (eventually) but he has ultimately failed to come up with a succession plan for that team, its mainstays all past their best and he's not got a replacement for any of them.

Admittedly I missed a lot of the first half but what I saw from Palmer was pathetic compared with what I saw from Allen. What are we supposed to be getting from Palmer? What's his role? How does a player of his size get knocked off the ball so easily?

Palmer is just not offering anything to us, we've got no outball and he just doesn't seem to be there to offer it.
