The original deal was a license too, yet one with a ridiculous premium attached. Remember the negotiations in 2012 SISU specifically cited it being a license.
The club wants / needs the benefits of owning the stadium but those benefits are not exclusive to ownership. Hopefully this means that long term security at the arena is on its way.
