    29 minutes from Wembley

Yes but that's just a part of it, it goes through Gordon Milne's time as boss culminating in 80-81 season. It deals with the Coventry Talbot farce and the players who doubled up in America and for Coventry.

    29 minutes from Wembley

i would heartily recommend anybody with our club in their blood to read the new book 29 minutes from Wembley. It was part of my life, now it's history, it is a good read and to see the affection for the Sky Blues by those players is wonderful. Ian Wallace and Tommy Hutchison not only did you...

    Booing of team... some thoughts

I am torn on this subject, IMO fans shouldn't be passive and let the team(any team) get away with lack of effort. We have the right to expect effort from players wearing our shirt and the right to express our displeasure when they fail to meet those basic standards. I was pleased the fans didn't...

What's the possibility of us being at The Butts next season?

There are some people who will moan about anything and everything. The Ricoh is a fine stadium, much better than HR(though I wished we never left there) It is not the stadium that is the problem, it is the club. From the issues at the first game til today everything has conspired against...

Plan B - Have we got one this year?

We have created chances, we are strong in defence, we are handily placed for a good season. All positive in my book! Now if we converted a higher percentage of the chances we made then promotion would be nailed on. I do worry that missing chances will harm us, Jones has scored once since the...

Match Thread Barnet - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 7th Oct

Poor game, lack of quality on both sides. Barnet were depleted and once again our defence was untroubled. Our forwards were disjointed. Not sure what the sub strategy was? Beavon stretched Crewe last week and lots of chances were created. The fans stayed with the team which was good to see.

Match Thread Barnet - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 7th Oct

On the train from Coventry, looking forward to the game before returning to Riyadh this evening. Couldn't have made it with a 3pm kick off so very happy with the start time. Hoping for a win with a decent margin! It was 1978 at Cov station this morning!

Match Thread Coventry City - Crewe Alexandra Match Thread - Saturday 30th Sep

Kelly and McDonald impressed for me, we got lucky with the free kick hitting the bar. Nazon is very hit and miss but it was no coincidence that the chances flowed when Beavon came on. Crewe were neat and tidy but Beavon stretched them and bought Kelly Evans and Jones into the game. It was the...

Match Thread Coventry City - Crewe Alexandra Match Thread - Saturday 30th Sep

Overnight from Riyadh, a few hours sleep and my wife says let's go to Pizza Express in town for lunch. Out at 2.15, over 1and a half hours to get out of West Orchard car park and just got in the ground! Let's hope the second half is a good one!

    Player Ratings vs Swindon

Yes those that attended were simply magnificent, that was not my point. My point was aimed at the quantity not the quality.

    Player Ratings vs Swindon

pusbccfc, thank you for sharing your view, which I obviously disagree with. The fact that we haven't won at Swindon in a long time is not a factor in fans going or not going. In league 2 Swindon is one of the closet games we have and they are likely rivals for promotion and for the division a...

    Player Ratings vs Swindon

Well done to the fans that traveled but I must say I was disappointed that just over 700 made the journey. Its one the "glamour games", relatively close by and we are near the top. I am heeding your call to arms on Saturday, Bawtryneal and hoping to do both Barnet and Accrington.

    Coventry Airport

Much too simplistic, whether we should have moved can be debated but what can't be denied is that the club/stakeholders/owners have contributed to an absolute clusterfuck. Anybody who finds the Ricoh an inconvenience should be reminded what the alternative is.

    Lee Burge

How about a sensible solution that negates pissing off his team mates and handing over possession and takes the pressure off himself? Roll or pass it out to a defender and play it out from the back.

First Ever Cov Match You Saw ?

it was a very good game, going toe to toe with a very good Spurs side. You can see the highlights on you tube. I had a season ticket in the west stand row D seat 21 and as a nine year old I used to get the 26 bus from Henley Green on my own, buy a program and a orange squash and a mars bar...

Name one Division 4 side in the history of the game which hasn't been thin on quality?

Which areas of Cov or out of town?

Although I live here in Riyadh, my home is in Nuneaton and after the cup final in April the KFC at Bermuda ran out of chicken! The reason? too many Coventry fans stopped off on their way back home and overwhelmed them. So Nuneaton is Sky Blue!!!

    Appeal granted

Nothing has changed. We still play Cambridge tomorrow, the club needs our support to survive more than ever before and we still have shit owners. Why the fuck is anyone shocked by this latest announcement? it is like you would be surprised to find out you need air to breathe.
