    Hoffman in the Sunday Telegraph

OMG.. so we're slaughtering Hoffman now because a pissed person thinks he may have seen him drive whilst under the influence himself? Without having any evidence whatsoever other than what his drunken eyes saw?:laugh::laugh::laugh::claping hands:

    Question

I can almost hear Ken now.. "After our relegation to L2, we are facing greatly reduced TV and gate income. No longer can this club afford to spend beyond it's means, which is why every first-team player is now available on a free transfer in a bid to drastically reduce overheads. We have to...

    Question

Have a look again at the Southampton team that struggled. Not that many are stars, and the likes of Lancashire have proved more Grandison than Davenport. Plenty of youngsters break into teams like ours when there is nobody else-only to drop down the divisions later in their careers.

    Question

If SISU remain at the helm, we will have to do our "rebuilding and recovery" on a "level playing field" where our former Championship peers Luton and Grimsby are now doing it. Yes, it's non-league here we come!!!

Shame Cody McDonald didn't play today

King came on as sub against PNE without a minute under his belt in over a year and was instantly 10 times better than anyone on the pitch. So whilst it isn't a good comparison, in any sense, if the excuse is "well, King was poor at first.." it just simply doesn't wash.

    Juke

I can see why fans like him-I do: he battles, he's strong, usually good in the air (not yesterday), usually good at holding ball up with back to goal and bringing teamates in (wasn't yesterday), and capable of lung-bursting runs like the one yesterday (which was pretty much all he did of...

Shame Cody McDonald didn't play today

Nope, I rate O'Donovan more than McDonald. Based on his pace (comfortably our fastest player), and his record in L1, as opposed to Codys great strike-rate being in L2. I've seen enough from O'Donovan as sub last few games to think he deserves a start. Although there was ONE moment where Cody...

    Murphy!

Agreed, but the Dunn in pre-season was a world away from the Dunn against Derby. In that game, he made a wordlie save and commanded his area much better than Murphy has all season. And we won that game, the only one we have!

    Forest fire proof bed sheet????

Good man. Just make sure Eakin knows that a fire certificate is irrelevant, as it's a question he has failed to ask the powers that be and a fact that really should be publicised on CWR. If the fire certificate issue is shown up as something they are just using to hide behind, it must be exposed.

Shame Cody McDonald didn't play today

Well what we needed was a bit of protest action-that got the fans going against both Watford and Derby, which were the best atmospheres at the Ricoh I have ever known!

    Platt

Watching again on TFLS, it was a cracking ball by Platt to Lukas for the penalty. So credit where it is due, he came on as sub and created a goalscoring opportunity.

    McSheffrey

It was purely descriptive, ha ha! As a long-term receder with a bald dad, I myself can see where Larry is coming from in "Curb Your Enthusiasm"!

    Forest fire proof bed sheet????

You are probably right Macca, but I just want to know that for sure. They refuse to admit it. I salute you Ben for making the investment, even if it just proves that a fire certificate is irrelevant!

    Platt

Yeah Platt did enough to justify his appearance, to be fair. He'll never be much more than a sub option, but that's more than we had at the start of the season. Overall, some good signs, some very worrying signs, bit of a mixed bag. Ultimately it's the result that has me down, alongside the...

    McSheffrey

I'm just relieved that McSheffrey isn't finished, as after his first few games he looked all washed up. But in terms of ability, in that role, he is our best player when on any kind of form. He'll never be the player he was when young, but he's still a top Championship talent. The most vital...

Shame Cody McDonald didn't play today

OK but as I said before, how many games is enough to start saying "OK, he's fit..still aint scored..mmm, maybe he's just crap?" If it isn't 3, is it 5? 10? In his interview he said that he'd been told "it can take a player who has missed preseason games until Christmas to catch up with the...

    Conor Thomas

Bang-on wingy, good and solid first half, did one run where he "drove on" that made me remember exactly what we are missing from Aron, but yes-faded badly. Did offer more than any other option would have, though. To quote AT, "I had a chat with Gael, and told him I was giving him a rest-and he...
