Agree apart from Ayari. Allen wasn't great today but he offers far more than Ayari IMO

Hopefully, Robins will take stock of second half performance. Bidwell has to start. Leagues above Da Silva. We don't have the players to play wingbacks.

That was shambolic. Wilson and Da Silva are trying to give goals away. So poor. Haji Wright's hold up play / aggression is totally absent. If we continue in this vain I can see us losing 6 or 7-1. Looks like we have never played together. The space and time they have in front of our back 3 is...

Strange. Thought one up top away from home was the way to go but obviously not. How Ayari starts ahead if Sakamota I never know. Would have liked Bidwell in for Da Silva too.

Get that clown out of goal

Wilson's story to get to where he is now is incredible and hats off to him. He seems to be a great character and I am sure this does help the team spirit. As for his kicking he is very able to use both feet very well which is better than many keepers. He has also shown to be very capable as a...

I thought Eccles could be added to those who showed some grit. He put himself about and was always showing. Allen too, before he tired. You could see him being frustrated by some around him.

There are mistakes and there are howlers. You don't see many professional goalkeepers make that sort of error.

Amateur goalkeeping. Very unconfident striker. Apart from that we look quite sharp. Allen and Sakamota looking busy and linking well. Van Ewijk and Da Silva better than recent. Eccles has stepped up. Unfortunately I think WBA will not be as bad second half.

    Recruitment has been shocking

Unless you are premier league (and can afford multi million pound gambles), if you buy a player for millions, you need to have evidence he can play at the level. We could have paid much less if we wanted to develop players. So hope to be proven wrong but on the evidence so far, some weird...

Squad Ratings so far this season

Eccles is decent enough but would be a better understudy for Sheaf, rather than play alongside. On saying that, apart from set pieces he hasn't done much wrong. We looked far better with Allen in the side. He provides the energy and link up play we are lacking. With regards Palmer, we have...

Match Thread Rotherham United FC - Coventry City Match Thread - Wednesday 25th Oct

I'd love to know why he left Sakamota out. The first half an hour against Bristol City was the best we have played this season and Sakamota was instrumental in that. He played with intensity, movement and skill. Exactly what we were missing today. When he came on with O'Hare, they both tried to...

Rotherham totally deserved it. We were poor individually and collectively. Some players had their worst performances of the season. I think only Wilson, Sheaf and O'Hare put in worthwhile efforts.

My opinion of Ayari and Da Silva has not improved after that, particularly the former. Da Silva has had so much of the ball but has done very little with it - one decent cross I think. We are missing energy in midfield. They have it in Rathbone. Some poor decision making throughout. Hopefully it...

Totally agree with Latibeudiere coming in for Thomas. Disappointed to see that Sakamota is dropped. I get that he tired in second half, but more reason to give him more game time. Ayari has only shown rare glimpses of quality. Hopefully he can be more impactful. I am not sure O'Hare will get any...

I am hoping that Sakamota keeps his place. Not only was he superb that first half but it will give him confidence in Robins' belief in him. As was mentioned above, I would put him on corner duty.
